Captain Bobby Ferrero is the man behind this charter – as a native Floridian who has lived and fished in the Port Charlotte area all his life, he knows a thing or two about these waters! He's spent over 25 years trying out and refining different fishing tricks and techniques. He can't wait to share his proven local fishing secrets with you, whatever your age or skill level.
Your adventure starts aboard a stylish 21' Shoalwater, perfectly designed for shallow water fishing. She can accommodate up to 4 guests. Powered by a Yamaha engine, this vessel will take you quickly and comfortably to the best fishing spots, and once you're there it's game on!
These waters are home to species such as Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Trout, Sharks, Snook, and many others. Capt. Bobby will introduce you to the best techniques for catching your target fish. Whether you like casting your line with flies, lures, or live bait, he'll be able to provide you with the equipment needed for an exciting and enjoyable experience!
As you'll be primarily fishing shallow waters, Capt. Bobby's trips are great for the whole family, as well as newer anglers. Water depths are rarely more than five feet, meaning that there is very little chance of seasickness. It's the perfect place to introduce your little ones to the magic of fishing!
All of your fishing equipment, bait, lures, and licensing are included in the price of your trip. Just let your captain know beforehand if you'd like to fly fish. Snook all day long!

Bobby was able to get us into multiple types of species today! Lady fish, Gag grouper, trout, mangrove snapper, snook, catfish and we saw so much wildlife as well! 10/10! I would recommend him over and over agian great for all ages! Know before you go make sure to bring a camera for photos and sunscreen!

Morning trip with Captain Bobby

This was a first time experience for my wife and I, but with Captain Bobby, we will be booking again when we come back on the next vacation. Very impressed with the professionalism and way he does business. Made this an amazing experience, and this man definitely knows where to put you on to the fish. The experience he has from being a native to the area truly shows when he puts you within seconds of the line hitting the water we had fish going after the bait. This will be something we will recommend to all types of folks who want to try something new, or just go out and have a great time catching fish. Thank you again for the time and the great experience you offferd.

Strong wind and still successful!

We had a great time fishing on our spring break vacation. Our group of two teenage granddaughters and two grandmothers really enjoyed fishing with Bobby.
Bobby was an excellent captain and we certainly kept him busy!
We caught trout, snook, and crevalle jack. Also got to see dolphins right by our boat and a few shark in the sound.
Thank you for the fun experience and will definitely book again during our next trip to Florida!

What a fun day, we met Captain Bobby at the marina and we caught fish all day snook, trout, jack, ladyfish, catfish and the best and biggest redfish i have ever caught. Our Captain was nice, professional and knowledgeable not to mention patient with us schooling us Nevadans in salt water fishing. I highly recommend shallow water experience for a fishing trip.

Great rip big fish
6 Hour Trip – Inshore on February 22, 2026 • 2 adults
This Dady Daughter trip was great experience for both. Laurie caught a
Big Redfish that we took home to eat, I caught a big Snook which was too big to keep 44 inch realy fun to catch on light tackle. We also caught many Sea Trout kapt 4. Captain Bobby was very accommodating and changed our start time to avoid rain. I recommend Shallow Water Experience.
