Fast Cast Fish is a versatile charter service based in the beautiful surroundings of Placida, Florida. You don't need to look any further for an enjoyable fishing trip that will let you target whichever inshore or nearshore fish you like.
You will be fishing aboard a brand new 2016 Pathfinder boat that is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. Featuring state of the art Simrad electronics, as well as a Minn Kota trolling motor and a Powerpole shallow water anchoring system, this boat is designed to put you on the fish. It will also offer you a comfortable ride, with plenty of storage and fold-out seating for the journey to and from the fishing spots.
Choose whether you'd rather stay inshore, travel out into the open waters nearshore, or target the ultimate Floridian inshore sportfish - the Silver King. Whichever trip you go for, you will be provided with the latest Shimano fishing equipment and all the bait and lures you will need for your trip. With potential target fish ranging from shallow water hunters such as Redfish and Snook to reef species like delicious Snappers, Groupers, and Amberjack, you will be in with a good chance of hooking some dinner!

Super great guys. Id recommend this charter to anyone. It was low fishing season and he put us on the fish anyway. Very enjoyable. Just like we wanted. Highly recommend these guys.

Inshore Fishing (4 Hour) on February 28, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 childrenCaptain Lou and his first mate Aiden are the best guides in Florida. End of story! Lou guided my two sons (7 and 9) and FIL around to all his honey holes today and kept the action alive all day. Sheepshead, Red Fish, Mangrove Snapper, you name it, Lou will help you catch them all. One of the nicest rigs I’ve ever been on (insanely clean), A+ music all day, and kept vibes high for guests young and old. Can’t say enough about this Captain, he’s the best!

Special 8 hours trip for Matt Chamberlain on December 27, 2025 • 4 adultsour captain and crew were amazing staying on top of the bait and keeping us on the fosh from start to finish. my favorite thing about this charter was they didnt get upset when the kids or adults missed a bite or lost a fish they positively encouraged u to get a new bait on bottom. I charter atleast two boats a year all over the country and this was in my top three

Shark Fishing (4 Hour) on May 1, 2025 • 4 adults • 2 childrenCaptain Lou had some unfortunate last minute engine issues on his boat but called in Captain Steve to the rescue. Steve was the best Captain we could’ve asked for - brought us to his hidden honey holes (that he’d been feeding for days prior to the trip), hooked us onto everything we asked for, and had all the patience in the world for my 8 and 6 y/o boys. We hooked onto everything - snook, trout, even a black tip shark at the start. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have an awesome day with with a local expert!

Shark Fishing (4 Hour) on July 1, 2024 • 4 adults • 1 childWe booked this Fishing trip because our other charter had canceled on us. Let me just say the experience was perfect from start to finish. We ended up booking this charter The day before departure and the Captain was very accommodating And assured us that we would go out in the morning. This trip was for my son's seventh birthday and he wanted to catch a shark, within the first hour, we already had the first one pulled in. In total, we caught three sharks and My son pulled in about fifteen fish. All the equipment they use is new.The boat is quick and super smooth. I would highly recommend them For anyone that wants to go out and catch some fish. You will not regret it. My kid still is talking about how much fun he had. Thanks again for making it happen it meant alot. Will be going again when family comes down for sure.

Nearshore Fishing (6 Hour) on April 26, 2023 • 4 adultsWe spent a week near Boca Grande and took 4 trips. We chose a near shore trip as we had an inshore and two tarpon trips booked already. Captain Lou offered to change the trip to tarpon as they were biting in the pass. We elected to keep the nearshore trip. First and foremost, the boat is mint! If your idea of camping involves a hotel this is your ticket. Capt. Lou keeps two bean bag lounge chairs in the bow that both my teenagers took advantage of as we headed to the grouper holes. We caught a wide variety of fish; snappers, groupers, grunts, puffers and even a remora which we thought was really neat. Lou was very experienced, a patient teacher and gave us great recommendations for things to do and local places to eat that we would not have found otherwise. I can only expect that a tarpon trip with Captain Lou would have been wildly successful. We were very happy with our Fast Cast Fishing Experience.

I would highly recommend Captain Lou for your next fishing trip. He takes incredible pride in making sure that you are in the right spot to catch at all times. His crew was on top of their game making sure that you always had bait while keeping the boat immaculate for your enjoyment. Also a shout out to an awesome music playlist while on the water!
