He and his crew are dedicated to helping you land a memorable catch, whether fishing by day or at night. Join them for a chance to reel in your next biggest catch!
Hooker 1 is a 38’ Speville Craft powered by twin 265 HP Perkins Sabre engines. This vessel is fitted for nothing less than the best of big game fishing, featuring a flybridge, GPS, fishfinder, and three fighting chairs. Penn and Shimano fishing gear are provided for you, including a range of 20 to 130 lb test lines. There is room on board for up to seven passengers, and children of all ages are welcome.
While fishing aboard Hooker 1, you can target a wide variety of big game species. Capt. Jean-Pierre and his crew are prepared to help you reel in the biggest of them, from Marlin and Giant Trevally to several different kinds of Tuna. Depending on the species, you may target your catch by jigging, trolling, or popping. Lures are provided and you will catch live bait during your trip.
You can also join Capt. Jean-Pierre for night fishing, casting lines between sunset and sunrise the next morning. This overnight trip gives you a chance to bottom fish the reefs for Snapper, Grouper, Dogtooth Tuna, Trevally, and even sharks.
Captain Jean-Pierre and the crew of Hooker 1 provide everything you need for a successful day (or night) on the water. A fishing license, gear, and drinks are included in your trip package. You may request to take a fish home with you to enjoy for dinner.

It was a great day out the crew were considerate and knowledgeable. We caught loads and the rise was very nice would recommend going if you have the chance. Make note that you have to pay by cash which caught us out but great overall.

Amazing Experience
I would 100% recommend Captain JP and his crew. Everyone was very friendly, the boat was in great condition and comfortable. They managed to hook my first Marlin after 3 hours of trawling! I will always remember that huge bang as it took the lure and sped down with the reel screaming! What an experience. Thank you. I'll definitely be back.

The crew is very professional!
I tried several boats and crews in Black River, but unsuccessful.. than I find out less then 12 hours, that this boat is available for all day Marlin fishing- I was lucky - thanks to that crew, reliable boat and excellent equipment I caught a really nice blue Marlin! My dream came true! Strongly recommend Captain Pigeot and his crew!!!
