Legit Fish Sport Fishing is based in Massachusetts Bay in Downtown Scituate. The crew knows all the hot fishing spots in the area and thrives to provide excellent service and outstanding catches to all its guests and friends.
Separating us from the rest of the fleet Step aboard the Legit Fish, a 2820xld Parker powered by twin 250 HP engines. The vessel has a carrying capacity of six anglers and a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. In the wheel house, you'll find Lorwance navigational electronics and a VHF radio. With an enclosed toilet, and a multimedia system, this boat is ideal for a comfortable day on the water.
Legit Fish Sport Fishing offers the widest variety of trips on the bay. You can target Bluefin Tuna and Striped Bass up to 25 miles offshore, or go even further off to take a lot of different species off your angling bucket list. As well as that, you can head out to Race Point for some of the best fishing opportunities in the area, or just dedicate your time on the water to chasing Cod or Striped Bass. Among the other targeted species are Bluefin Tuna, Pollock, Haddock, Porbeagle Shark, Thresher Shark, Bluefish, and Blue Shark.
During your trip, you may be using a variety of fishing techniques, including heavy tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, trolling, spinning, kite fishing,Fly, and popping. In case you are not in the mood for fishing, you can choose a Harbor cruise, where you will get a chance to watch whales at the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Captain Mark and 1st Mate Danny were incredible and made it an unforgettable day. I took my son, father, and father-in-law on the charter, and Captain Mark put us right on the fish. We were already having an amazing day when we learned that the Stripers were hitting again just a short distance from where we were. We quickly set up, and soon enough, four passes and four more Stripers! Captain Mark shared his extensive knowledge, and both he and Danny were always ready with a tip, engaging conversation, or preparing for the next catch. This was one of the best charters I have ever experienced, and I can't wait to go again with Legit Fish next summer.
It was great having you guys on board. Can’t wait to see you next year. Have a great winter. if you ever make it, Daytona area over the winter will be fishing down there all winter.
Outstanding trip with Captains Mark and Dave today! Caught stripers, haddock and grouper. Experienced, extremely knowledgeable and safe Captains who know the area and fishing grounds well. Highly recommend Legit!!!

Chartered a half day with Legit Fish Sport Fishing. Captain Mark and First Mate Danny were great, they made it really fun. We started the trip by catching about 30 or so mackerel as bait and then went fishing for striped bass. Caught a couple, lost a bunch trying. The boat is modern and fast, it was cool to watch to fish finder and learn how it works. They take care of all equipment. I would recons to anyone, with or without prior fishing experience.
