The boat’s flybridge will aid your search for the fish and an ice-box will keep the catch fresh and the drinks cool during the day. Inside the vessel there is a toilet, which is a much-needed thing when staying on the water. As well as that, there is a live bait tank fitted along with downriggers for a professional fishing experience.
The waters of Destin are abundant with a wide range of fish species, and Windwalker II Charters is familiar with the methods that work best to make an outstanding catch possible.
Enjoy a productive 4-6-hour trip to Destin’s shallow waters, or travel further out to deeper waters on a longer trip. Go trolling close to the shore for Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, and Bonito. Or take a ride further out for an exciting fight with those blue water monsters – Wahoo, Tuna, White Marlin, Sailfish, and Blue Marlin.
A fishing trip with Windwalker II Charters comes inclusive with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, along with the licenses for you and your group. If you decide to keep the catch, it will be cleaned and filleted after the trip for a ride home, where you could take it for dinner later. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks!

This was our annual girls trip. we picked Destin to spend sometime at the beach. My son and his buddies had been fishing with the Windealker II crew & caught the heck out of fish. So we decided to book a trip. We had a great time. Captain Berno found great fishing spots. Mark the deck gand was very patient with us. We weren’t very good at reeling them in but got lots of bites. It was alot of work but also we had fun doing it. We ended up with nine fish. Not to bad for two old ladies 🤣🤣. I would highly recommend booking a fishing trip with the Windwalker II crew.
Thank you so much. What you girls did was impressive. Need more ladies like you.
Highly recommend!! We had a group of 12 on July 1 for an afternoon 5 hour charter. We caught some fish trolling on the way out and a lot more once we started hitting individual spots. We caught red snapper, grouper, spanish mackerel and several other kinds that were out of season and we tossed back. The First Mate Mark was great with everyone and taught us how to use the rods and baited hooks very quickly, as most of us had never been out deep sea fishing before. Thanks Bernie and Mark!
Dont listen to the previous reviews complaining about a grumpy caprain. The only time we/you interact with the captain is starting the trip while he explains things and again at the end when he thanks you. He is up on the bridge driving the boat the entire time trying to find the best fishing spots. The first mate was incredible and very patient even after having to repeat instructions over and over. The back of the boat is covered which helps with the sun as well as providing hand grabs if the swells get big. We caught plenty of fish and made wonderful memories. Id go with this crew again tomorrow if time allowed.
Great time, captain and crew were great and very experienced. They warned us before hand about times being not very good time to catch fish. However we were still able to catch plenty of fish and have a great time for all of the group. Mark made sure we all had plenty of bait and knew how to bait the hooks and how to operate the poles for all the first timers. Overall 10 out of 10.
We had a great time catching lots of fish, different varieties and sizes. Once at a spot, if we weren't catching within a few minutes Captain Bernie would move us to another spot so we had better chances at success. Bernie and Mark were friendly and very helpful when it came to instructing us on technique. It was a great and memorable trip. And we got to eat amazing fresh fish for days afterwards!
