Spot Stalker Charters operates out of Oak Hill, FL, offering half and full day trips targeting the area's inshore species. Located on Florida's eastern coast, you will be fishing in some of the best and most famous flats fishing territory in the state – right on the renowned Mosquito Lagoon – and Spot Stalker Charters will make sure you get the very most out of these shallow-water fisheries.
The Skeeter SX240 you will be fishing aboard is the ultimate Shallow water bay boat. At 24' long, she is able to take up to 4 guests fishing the channel edges and deeper waters where the best fish love to lurk. The vessel is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine up to a top speed of 45 knots, as well as a MinnKota i-Pilot trolling motor for sneaking up on even the spookiest of fish, and comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and everything you will need for an awesome day's fishing.
Spot Stalker Charters specializes in shallow-water fishing and offers a variety of ways to catch the best the area has to offer. The usual tactic to catching our local species would be to fish cut bait on the channel edges or throw artificials in the Spoil Islands for Seatrout. Choose an experienced captain with the right boat in the right place and you're going to get some great fishing!

Captain Todd was excellent! He taught us about the local fish and also a few tips to not lose as many fish as usual! The sun was shiny until the end and Captain Todd made sure we got back to the dock safely! He was full of great stories, and baited my hook each time! The area was full of manatees and dolphins and even an alligator and eagle! So much more than just a fishing trip! It was an experience!! You won’t be disappointed, and tonight we are eating our fish we caught!! Thanks Captain Todd, from David and Sheila, your Mount Dora couple!!

Great experience! The first trip out the fish were not biting and Todd tried very hard to put us on some fish with no luck. That’s the way fishing goes! I had to leave Orlando the next day but Todd told me to reachout when I was back in town and he would take me out again. Nearly 3 weeks later I was back in town and I reached out to Todd and he was true to his word. Todd put us on some fish within the first 30 mins and we had a great time! Todd is very professional and very friendly, I would highly recommend him and his services. I am looking forward to the next time I am able to get out on the water with Todd!

I began fishing the flats and backwaters of Florida over 20 years ago. I have lived in Florida now since 2008 and spend over 200 days a year on the water in the Mosquito Lagoon and North Indian River areas. I grew up in the Pacific NW and fishing is some of my earliest memories. After my time in the Navy and College I went to work for Lamiglas, Inc. as a rod/blank designer. Lamiglas is one of the NW's largest Fishing Rod Manufacturers. After 20 years designing rods for Lamiglas I moved to Florida where I have been designing rod building components and equipment along with rod blanks for Mud Hole Custom Tackle.
