Vickie Ann Charters is based in Deale, Maryland. The Captain and his crew fish the water of the Chesapeake Bay, specializing in catching Striped Bass, Bluefish, White Perch, Spanish Mackerel, and many other species. They can accommodate any angler's needs, so your age and expertise don't matter!
Enjoy your fishing adventure aboard a 38-foot boat, which comes powered by twin 210 HP Cummins engines. The vessel is fully rigged with navigational electronics, which include a GPS, a VHF radio, a fish finder, and a radar. There is an anchoring system carried on board, an ice-box, a toilet for your maximum comfort on the water, and a live bait tank. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to six anglers.
On this charter, you can choose between six and eight-hour trips. If you want to fish for a trophy Striped Bass, the season starts on May 1st and lasts for about two weeks. If it's a summer Striped Bass that you are after, then the best time to catch them would be mid-May to December. You will also get a chance to fish for White Perch, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Spot.
Each fishing adventure with Vickie Ann Charters comes inclusive with the licenses for you and your group, as well as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. The crew will clean and fillet the catch after the trip so that you can take it home with you and have it for dinner. You can feel free to bring snacks and drinks in your cooler, along with sunscreen, proper clothing for the weather, and a camera. Alcoholic drinks are also allowed but in moderation.
The only thing you have to do now is to look through the offered trips and pick the one you like the best. After that, you'll be ready to embark on your next angling adventure!

6 Hour Trip on July 26, 2026 • 6 adults • 4 childrenMy husband and son both have milestone birthdays this year so we decided to go charter fishing as a family to celebrate together. Captain Bob and his first mate, Paxton, were both friendly, engaging, helpful, and encouraging to every member of our family (2 adults, 13yo, 10yo & 8yo). We went out for a 6-hour trip, beginning at 6am, and had a great time. We caught lots spot fish and a couple blue fish. We had a few unfortunate snag events with crab pots and unlucky rockfish losses, but the overall experience was terrific. When we return to fish again, we will now know to limit the trolling portion for blue fish and focus on the interactive fishing aspect as our family would rather catch nothing while interactively trying than just watching a process passively. Captain Bob & his first mate were incredibly thoughtful of allowing my kids to reel in the catches and to prepare everything for our fishing success. The boat was clean and perfect for our family of 5.

There was plenty of action which was great and got the kids even more interested in fishing. They also learned a lot thanks to the great job of everyone. Bob and Shane were both phenomenal and went above and beyond to help make our day on the water extra memorable. We had two youngsters in our group (5 and 7) and Captain Bob and Shane modified the fishing day so it was extra special for the kids as well - We would highly recommend them both to everyone and we will absolutely be seeing them again on our next fishing excursion 😎

Took my husband and 5 year old for father's day! It exceeded my expectations. Everything was handled, and Bob and Robert let my 5 year old reel in most of the fish. They were also very good with all of his questions! My husband is a veteran fisher and I am not, but they were able to help me out while letting my husband do his thing. My 5 year old said he wants to come back on "this exact boat with these exact people" which is a very high compliment!
