Mid Coast Bay Fishing 

Mid Coast Bay Fishing is here to show you the stunning shallow waters of Port O'Connor. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Stephen can tell you all about the local fishery.

Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead and more inhabit these waters year round.

On these trips, it’s common to use light tackle. Typical trip begins at 7am dock departure and lines up at 11am for ride back to dock on a Half Day trip (times vary)

We are a kid-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! You're welcome to bring snacks and drinks so that everyone stays happy and energized!  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You'll be fishing aboard a 2021 25' Carolina Skiff with Suzuki 175 4-Stroke Outboard Motor with room for 6 Anglers. Please note that the boat gets pretty crowded with 4 grown-ups so if you have 5 or 6 it will be tight-not all can fish at the same time however if the extras are kids it's easier to manage

Rods and reels are included.  Bait is extra depending upon availability.  Fish cleaning may be extra depending upon the catch.

Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group, check age limits. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Again, Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles and of course NO illegal drugs are tolerated—Strictly Enforced.
