Off The Hook Charters invites you and your family on a fishing trip on the beautiful Gulf Coast waters of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This charter is operated by Captain Perry who is a third-generation angler and a native fisherman to the area. He knows the best spots and is thrilled to share the beauty of this area and his fishing secrets with you!

Capt. Perry will take you out on his 24’ Kenner center console boat, originally built in 1999, and restored in 2017. This boat is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 36 knots. There is enough room on the boat for up to 4 people fishing without feeling too crowded.

The vessel is fully equipped with all the best safety and navigational features such as a Garmin GPS and fishfinder, which are used to locate the schooling fish. The boat contains all the finest quality fishing gear and tackle that is user-friendly. There is also live and artificial bait and a fishing license.

The crew’s number one goal is to provide a safe and fun fishing experience for your whole group. It will share its knowledge with you and help you reel in as many fish as possible. The crew works hard to take its customers to the best spots while providing an opportunity to catch fish and have an adventure of a lifetime.

The captain will take you fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Pompano, Red Snapper, Cobia, King and Spanish Mackerel, and many more species, all depending on the fish migratory patterns and what is in season.

Your fishing grounds can be the shallow marshy back bay flats, the crystal clear beaches, and the nearby offshore reefs based on seasons and weather patterns. We will work hard to put you on the fish and make some great memories!

Cliff and Offf The Hook Charters were simply outstanding!

"I could not be more pleased" would be a gross understatement to how I really feel after our trip with Cliff thru Off The Hook Charters. From helping with us with a late reschedule because of an incoming "windy front" to working with me and making sure my autistic son was set up for the best trip possible, this team COMPLETELY exceeded my expectations! Cliff became friends with my son From the moment we got in the boat and worked with him to ensure he had the best possible experience. With an early morning slam on large Red Snappers to a mid morning Spanish Mackerel run, the fish we took home was just the exclamation point on the overall experience. I will definitely book again through them… and you should too!

Highlight of our vacation

My wife and 3 children (17,14,6) wanted to do this with me. After reading many reviews I chose to go with Off The Hook Charters. We are all SO glad I did. Captain Perry was awesome! He is very knowledgeable, personable, and worked his butt off to keep all of us catching fish. We brought in a haul! King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Bonito filled the cooler. My wife and kids have wanted to go back again everyday since we went. I would highly recommend going with Off The Hook Charters and Captain Perry if possible. We will be going with them every time we make it down here. Thank you Captain Perry for an unforgettable day!

My wife and I were in the area for an anniversary trip and booked with Captain Perry. So glad we did! He took us to some great spots and we caught some sheepshead and a blue drum. Perry was so patient and kind. By the time we finished our trip, it felt like we had a new best buddy. Highly recommend Off the Hook and Captain Perry.

I had Andy’s my Boat Captain. The weather was cloudy and rain on and off. We got our limit of Spanish Mackerel very easily. Andy and I had the best conversations, he was down to earth, taught me a lot about the fish we caught. The 3 hours went by very fast as we stayed busy catching, losing some good ones, but the day was the best ever. He baited my hook, and rigged the lines. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely book him the next trip.

Super Pleasant Experience

Perry gave a good recommendation to fish the ICW as itnwas quite windy and rough. We navigsted to the spot and had a fish on in minutes. Had succes catching several black drum over the next few hours. Good service, good knowledge. highly recommend Perry and Off The hook.
