Looper Charters Lake Superior invites you on a fishing adventure of a lifetime on the beautiful Lake Superior out of Duluth, Minnesota. The charter is operated by Captain Brody Kaldahl who has dedicated the past 10 years to guiding on Lake Superior and learning how to make it the best experience possible.

Captain Brody will take you fishing for Lake Trout, Steelhead, Salmon, or Walleye depending on the season you go out. You will have all the fishing gear provided in the form of rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, so all you have to bring is a fishing license and a good mood. Captain Brody works with a mate who will help you reel in your catch, so pay attention and learn from the pros.

You will fish aboard a 3100 open tiara powered by twin crusader 350s each with 270hp. The boat crusies 20-23 mph with a top speed near 30mph. The boat is fully equipped with all the safety equipment such as life jackets and a CPR-trained crew.

The vessel boasts a toilet, a kitchen, a bed, and a comfortable seating area for when you tire of fighting the fish. There is also a GPS and a fishfinder that will help you locate the best fishing spots, as well as an icebox for your catch, and outriggers.

Looper Charters Lake Superior can take you on fishing trips that will allow you to also sightsee and take in the largest of the Great Lakes of North America.

A trip to remember

My wife and I have gone through Captain Brody before and we had a great time the first time around. We stopped in Duluth and made another trip and it surely was one to remember. Both Brody and his first mate, Canyon, did an amazing job getting us on fish and making us feel at home aboard. It really felt like we never left the first time because only an hour in and we already almost hit our bag limit on some quality fish. Between doubling up on some nice Lakers and an awesome fight with my first King Salmon, safe to say its gonna be hard to top this trip. Thank you again you guys, we look forward to many more annual trips to come!

Caught a king worthy of a crown!

Captain Brody was quick to answer my questions by text through the app before our trip, and he and his mate (Kainan? spelling) had the boat and gear ready to go when we arrived. Our morning started a little slowly as the fish didn't bite at first but after about 45 min my son landed a lake trout, this was followed by a few salmon. The excitement really grew when he brought in a large King salmon! It was so fun to see the crew just as excited as we were. We had a successful and memorable fishing trip and would highly recommend this charter!

A Superior Adventure

Captain Brody of Looper Charter provided us a great adventure on Lake Superior. A beautiful overcast day of fishing sometimes with a nice cool breeze and sometimes with a warm breeze and an ocassional cool rain which didn’t dampen our spirits. While fishing we caught king salmon, walleye, lake trout and brown trout. A great experience and one that we will once again enjoy with Looper Charter and so should you.

Captain Brody and first mate Canyon were absolutely wonderful.
We had an awesome day of fishing and went home with some great Walley.
Experience of a lifetime. 
They are young but do not let that sway you towards a different guide as they were filled with so much knowledge of the waters and where the fish are at. HIGHLY recommend them.
They handled the water, weather and conversation amazingly.
Captain Brody filited the fish and packed them up for us.
Absolutely wonderful trip and highly recommend Loopers Charter for your experience.

Great day on the water, sunny, but east wind. Limited on Lake Trout, all good size early and went on to catch four cohoe. great and helpful crew. I was soloing, but adults and children will find The Looper and crew great for any fishermen. I will hire Captain Brody and the Looper crew again.
