Looper Charters Lake Superior invites you on a fishing adventure of a lifetime on the beautiful Lake Superior out of Duluth, Minnesota. The charter is operated by Captain Brody Kaldahl who has dedicated the past 10 years to guiding on Lake Superior and learning how to make it the best experience possible.
Captain Brody will take you fishing for Lake Trout, Steelhead, Salmon, or Walleye depending on the season you go out. You will have all the fishing gear provided in the form of rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, so all you have to bring is a fishing license and a good mood. Captain Brody works with a mate who will help you reel in your catch, so pay attention and learn from the pros.
You will fish aboard a 3100 open tiara powered by twin crusader 350s each with 270hp. The boat crusies 20-23 mph with a top speed near 30mph. The boat is fully equipped with all the safety equipment such as life jackets and a CPR-trained crew.
The vessel boasts a toilet, a kitchen, a bed, and a comfortable seating area for when you tire of fighting the fish. There is also a GPS and a fishfinder that will help you locate the best fishing spots, as well as an icebox for your catch, and outriggers.
Looper Charters Lake Superior can take you on fishing trips that will allow you to also sightsee and take in the largest of the Great Lakes of North America.

Caught Our Limit

I took my Wife, daughter and son-in-law, and my son and daughter-in-law. This was the first time we have done something like this. Captain Brody and his first mate Canyon were professional and just joined in on having fun with my family. We caught our limit in 3 hours, had four fish on the line at one time and just had a blast. Go, it's worth the investment and a great time to build family relationships! We had such a great time I already recommended Looper Charter and gave the guy staying next door to our Air BnB a flyer I had taken from the dock. :)

We had a great first outing with Looper Charters! It was early in the morning and a little rainy, everyone was a little tired but the captain and his first mate were awesome. They were very knowledgeable on the area and it didn’t take long once we were set up to get on the fish. It was fun to share some fish stories and geek out on the fish we enjoy going after. My wife and I hit our bag limits and we left with smiles on our faces. We look forward to our next trip with you guys in the future!

Brody is great . I was worried about my kids (8 and 5) coming just how kids are ya know, but Brody's attitude was great. He just went with everything and made the best of it. Even with all their potty breaks and my 5 yr old even got sea sick. I felt so embarrassed but Brody was incredibly helpful and sincere. He made light of the situation and we even had fish on at that time. Even his deck hand (Canyon) was great about everything. We even caught 6 fish and 1 was a 12 pounder. YEAH!!!!!

Skeeter, an individual in a group home had a dream to go fishing on a big boat. Well boy oh boy did he get his dream, its been several days since the trip and he is still talking about his big boat adventure. My staff wont stop talking about what an amazing day that they had, and how top notch the crew was. I highly recommend booking with Captain Brody and his crew. Huge thanks to them for making this a day Skeeter will never forget.
