Hook Um Fishing Charters
Hook Um Fishing Charters invites you to explore the beautiful Bahamian islands. Spend a day with your family or fishing buddies in the crystal clear turquoise waters, teeming with marine life. You’ll launch out of Nassau, in search of fresh catch, with Captain Jamie Brown.
Your vessel for the day is 28’ Parker boat, which can accommodate up to 7 anglers. She’s fitted with the latest navigational electronics as well as outriggers and downriggers to help you catch the fish. Inside the cabin, you’ll find various amenities including a toilet, a shower, and a bed for naps in between bites.
On a typical day out on the waters, you’ll fight it out with Yellowfin Tuna, test your angling skills against majestic Sailfish, and experience the thrill of Barracuda fishing. On top of that, you’ll also be able to target Wahoo, King Mackerel, and search for trophy Marlin Marlin. Plus, there is always a good chance to encounter Mahi Mahi!
All trips come with everything you need for a productive day of fishing including rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Capt. Jamie also provides some drinks and you’re free to bring along any other refreshments and snacks you’d like. Once caught, your fish will be cleaned and filleted when you return to the shore.

Mitch & Jamie are the dynamic duo!
Great experience for my wife and 16-year old son. Fish weren’t super active that day, so even though other captains were pulling into the marina with empty coolers, we still managed to pull in some big barracudas along with some others to throw on the grill. Plus, along with the great fishing, you’ll get an education. Mitch is an amazing ambassador and will spin you up on all things Bahamas…from history to culture to anything else you want to know. Highly recommend!

Jamie, the boat captain and his first mate were all exceptional. We had such a great time caught a lot of fish and would recommend Hook Um' Charters to anybody who's looking to catch some real good fish. We were able to take the fish to the Margaritaville restaurant right behind the docks and they cooked up the fish for us, tasted so great having fresh fish. Once again thank you to Hook Um' charters we appreciate the service and the friendliness.

Fantastic Trip!
Went out with Captain Kelvin and Mitch. It was exactly what I was looking for. We trolled for a bit and then went to bottom fish the second half of the trip. We caught a big variety of fish; Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper, Porgi, Grunt, etc… Captain even showed me a new fishing technique. Great fishing and great company made for a memorable trip. I’ll definitely give them a call next time I’m in Nassau and I would highly recommend.

Great boat, Captain, and crew!
We started trolling within 20 minutes and had fish on. Switched to bottom fishing and landed grouper, snapper, sandfish, and grunt. Great conversation and they did all the work. Will definitely book them again!!!

Awesome day on the water
I took my 7 yr old son for his first charter. The skipper and crew were rated good in the reviews I read and they did not disappoint - they were awesome! We had a blast and they got my son on fish right away. We trolled out to a reef and then bottom fished for a while followed by some more trolling. We did not get anything trolling as a cold front had rolled through the previous week. We managed to boat 46 reef fish including a beautiful trigger fish, 2 types of small grouper, yellowtail, porgy, grunts, etc. Was an awesome day and my son was thrilled. We took the catch to Margharetaville and they cooked it up for us. Was great. Thanks guys! Highly recommend.
