You will be fishing from the Zikr, a 45' vessel that can accommodate up to 20 people. She is powered by twin 440 HP Yanmar engines and can reach speeds of up to 35 knots. The boat is rigged with navigational electronics, has a flybridge, toilet, shower, a fighting chair, an ice box, and stores life jackets. As you can see, it has the essentials for offshore sports fishing.
Once you join the crew, they will head out, and after an hour's ride, you will reach lucrative fishing grounds. The crew will supply the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and will take care of the fishing license. You will have water on board, and an esky with ice. Just pack your favorite snacks and food.
Here you can catch some truly impressive game fish. Sailfish, Black Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Giant Trevally, or Red Emperor and Grouper. Try trolling first to get the fast swimming pelagics, or indulge in bottom fishing for tasty Snapper. You can also switch to jigging if you're looking for an extra challenge. Popping can work really well with Trevally as they love coming after the sound.
What to pack? Comfortable clothes and footwear. Also bring a cap, sunnies, and sunscreen, and make some room for an extra layer of clothes in case it gets wet. We've already mentioned food, and you will also want to bring along a camera.

beautiful day dud some trolling, unfortunately unlrcky but went bottom fishing a caught a load of fish. Thanks to Vince had freshly made Sashimi and battered fish which was unbelievable. Thanks Capt Sam and his hard eorking team looking forward to heading again soon

Went over to fiji from New zealand we game fish in New zealand, so know our stuff, been on a few charters in fiji, we caught 3 YFT which was great for the people in our group who hadn't catch one before, I was extremly impressed how pushy the captain was in getting us fish and going out really deep and not afraid of saving gas to get us a fish. I've been on other boats in fiji before and they did not do this, (this to me makes it a great charter. highly recommend this charter if you want all the chances of getting a decent fish and a captain who doesn't just buy time.
Deck crew were great. Disappointed Capt made decision to not go out into deeper water in case the children on board got seasick without discussing with adults. Everyone caught at least 1 reef fish, but no filleting done although was stated on website. Capt did take the boat to sandy shallower water for swimming.
Thank you for your feedback. After speaking with our team our captain noted that he did discuss the sea conditions and safety of the children with one of the male members on board but we do apologize for any breakdown in communication with the rest of the family. The decision to stay closer to shore was due to the coastal inundation warning and potential heavy swells. Passenger safety is always our priority.
