Watersport enthusiasts will find a plethora of rewarding opportunities in the bountiful waters around Fiji’s islands. Xtasea Charters will help you to make the most of everything these waters have to offer, and while they are primarily serious about providing a top quality sport fishing experience, they also appreciate all the many other diverse opportunities that are available on these waters.
Xtasea Charters’ boat ‘Wai Tadra’ is fully surveyed to relocate to any destination within Fiji’s waters, giving the company the flexibility to be able to provide trips around any one of the country’s 300 plus islands. This flexibility, combined with the superior quality of the boat, makes Xtasea Fiji’s premier sport fishing operation.
Wai Tadra is a 40 ft White Cap that is powered by two 900 HP Hino engines. It features a luxurious air conditioned interior that is complemented by a huge, self-draining back deck. All the latest gadgets required for game fishing are provided on board, with tuna tubes, a live bait tank and a high tech fighting chair all at your disposal. We expect you will also appreciate the enclosed head with a hot and cold shower!
You will be fishing with custom built heavy tackle by Shimano, using an assortment of artificial lures, teasers, live bait and dead bait. Your trip will be tailored to what you want to get out of it and what the conditions are like on the day, but it could involve trolling and casting poppers on light tackle for Giant Trevally and Mackerel over the myriad of reefs and shoals. Then you might head to the drop offs to target Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish. And if you have come to Fiji with one goal in mind - to catch a giant and lightning fast Marlin - Xtasea will help you work the bait schools, currents and seamounts for Marlins of the Blue, Black and Striped varieties.
Whatever you end up targeting, Xtasea have the experience, tackle and boat to make your fishing trip in Fiji action packed and memorable.
