Coral Coast Fishing Charters invites you to join them for an unforgettable private fishing adventure in Fiji. Running out of Cuvu Beach near the Shangri-la, they offer a variety of trips to the inshore and offshore waters. Captain Fai has been fishing these waters for over 25 years and his ability to locate fish over and over again is a pure gift!
You will fish aboard a 29’ Carvel sport fishing boat powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. The twin-hull boat makes for a smooth ride with an onboard flush toilet, a double bed and a single bed available. The vessel features life jackets for safety, a GPS and a fishfinder, a flybridge, an icebox, and a radio for entertainment.
The Fijian waters are rich with a variety of fish not too far away from the shore, all waiting to bite your bait. You can target Red Emperor, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, Black Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. You can use light and heavy tackle, do bottom fishing, trolling, popping, jigging, and handline fishing techniques or learn from Capt. Fai.
He’ll provide you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, a fishing license, snacks, and drinks. There’s a first mate on board to help you with reeling in your catch, and they can also clean and fillet your fish at the end of the trip. The boat can accommodate up to 10 passengers so if you are part of a large group, you are bound to have a great time!
There’s also free pick up and drop off from as far north as Denarau/Nadi through to the Warwick Hotel in the east.

Caught lots of fish
We were picked up from our hotel and transferred to the boat. Its a bit dated but fine otherwise. We had a group of 5 people and that was a good number as you can comfortably sit undercover. snacks and soft drinks were provided and were great! The crew were excellent and were locals who know the area well. They worked very hard to make sure we had every chance to catch fish. We trolled with no luck but cought all the fish bottom bashing. Our kids loved it and we all had a great time. Can recommend.

Amazing staff with experience
Bobby and the rest of our crew were so knowledgeable and friendly during our trip. We were all mostly beginners looking for a great experience, amazing views, and some fish if we were lucky and this exceeded our expectations. We did some trolling and bottom fishing, and rode with about 15 dolphins back in the sunset. The weather was great but the waters were choppy - more than a few of us were expecting so be prepared if they tell you that, but they managed to get us home safely. Would definitely recommend this for all fishing levels. :)

Good crew and boat bad conditions
Although the crew and boat and service was great and I would recommend to anyone. I would highly recommend doing your research on what the weather report means. I have not do sea fishing were it has been a problem (always gone with others that know). I did ask anb the weather and they sent a report (I had no clue what it meant) so I asked. They told me it would be a bit choppy. (We clearly have different ideas on choppy hahaha). I should have researched this not just went choppy sounds ok. I would like to say again other then a more info for inexperienced people about the weather the crew and everything was good and I would use them again.

We were unlucky to land any big fish but the crew mixed up the methods to give us the best chance of hooking up, caught a few different species having a bottom bash after some trolling. I'd book with them again

Super friendly, helpful, ensured we had a great experience
They went out of their way to try different areas, switch up bait, provide snacks and drinks all to ensure we enjoyed our experience. We saw amazing scenery, islands, and caught 15+ fish between my wife and I. Learned about the area and fish for various seasons, and local life as well. Excellent experience! Highly recommended.
