Martin’s Fishing Adventures is based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Join the crew for an action-packed day out on the warm blue waters. Puerto Vallarta is definitely the place to be!
You will go out aboard the “La Cindy,” a 40’ yacht. The beauty is the crew’s most prized and beloved possession after the captains. Powered by twin 315 HP Cummins engines, the La Cindy offers a safe and dry ride to the hottest spots for sport fishing & sightseeing.
It could take you far from the shore for some big game fishing or just float along the coast as you sip your favorite drink and soak up the sun. La Cindy is wheelchair accessible and comes fully rigged with top-notch navigational electronics, a fighting chair, Tuna tubes, and other professional features. Inside, it has everything you need for a comfortable day on the water.
The crew offers everything from game fishing to special overnight Tuna packages. Cruise in the Banderas Bay or head out to catch some big game fish Past Marietas Islands, La Corbeteña, and El Banco. Take in all the beauty of the local nature or butt heads with the fish of the dreams.
Depending on which trip you choose, your targeted species may include Mahi-Mahi, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Cubera Snapper, Roosterfish, Wahoo… and the list just keeps going! All trips come with quality gear, tackle, bait, and licenses. Your part of the catch will be cleaned and filleted at the end of the trip. Just bring something to eat and drinks and welcome on board!
Please note that the captain only accepts payments in cash.
Join Martin’s Fishing Adventures, explore the prolific waters under the Mexican sun, and have a memorable fishing experience.

Half Day Trip – Small Game Fishing

3/4 Day Trip – Big Game Fishing
Miguel and crew were nothing short of amazing. We did a 9 hour trip with 6 adults and 3 kids and we were hooking onto fish all day. Antonio and his son worked hard all day rebaiting lines and making sure everyone got a turn to catch fish. After hooking onto a few jack crevalle I had asked if any mahi mahi had been caught recently and he assured us they have been spotted in the area. Within half an hour of that conversation we were hooked onto our first mahi mahi and the kids were so excited. We mostly did catch and release but killed a mahi mahi so we could try some ceviche. It did not disappoint and I'd recommend anyone who gets the chance to try it at least once. Everyone was so friendly and I had very good conversations with Antonio. The boat is comfortable with lots of space for everyone and the kids were able to have a rest down below on the two beds when needed while the wives sunbathed on a blanket on the front of the boat. We even had the chance to see a few humpback whales with her baby, sea turtles, hammerhead shark, mako shark and plenty of dolphins in the boats wake. The boat seemed very well maintained and taken care of. If you're looking for a world class fishing experience definitely book with these guys you won't regret it. Thank you to Miguel, Antonio and son for an amazing day we soon won't forget. We will definitely be back in the future.

Full Day Trip – Big Game Fishing
Day 2 of fishing while here was my wife and I and our 3 sons and 2 son in laws. This was a long 12 hour trip and the guys worked hard all day to put us on fish and again made us an amazing batch of ceviche with some fresh dorado that my son caught. Although this is not the best time of year to fish here Miguel and the boys still put us on some fish including my first marlin after several skunked trips over the years in other places! I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a safe and professional boat/crew in PV. In America we call these guys “good ol boys”.

3/4 Day Trip – Big Game Fishing
We set out early from PV and the water was ROUGH. My 18 and 11 year old boys both tossed their breakfast overboard.... But oddly, we knew the captain was doing a good job of minimizing the rolling we were feeling. This is one captain who knows how to handle a boat - let me assure you! We eventually got out into the wider ocean, into the big game grounds, and the trolling hooks were just not getting touched. Between getting sick and not catching anything in the first 4 hours, spirits started to wane.... Suddenly the boat lurched to a stop and, almost jumping down to the deck, the crew scrambled. They grabbed a fish from the bait hole, tossed it on a rod and cast.... "Marlin!" was the call that rang out - and on the first cast - it bit! 20 minutes later, a Marlin was about to be pulled up into the boat - when it snapped the line and my father, who was on the rod, registered a look of disappointment. Not so fast! The captain kept the fish on his radar and followed it. After that 20 minute fight, the Marlin was "done". It had taken some damage during the fight and wasn't able to dive down. The crew relentlessly pursued the marlin, and after several tense minutes, managed to get a hold it near the bow of the boat. They dragged the fish down the side of the boat and pulled the massive beast up onto the deck, with all of us cheering their efforts. This trip was my gift to my dad, as he lived for taking my brother and I out fishing since we were young - and he's never been able to fulfill this particular dream. This crew ENSURED that dream came true. We could not be happier and couldn't recommend this crew more. We caught several Bonita and a jack crevalle. As the other posts say, the crew will make a ceviche from the Bonita - but what they don't say is how absolutely delicious that ceviche is. We ordered the taxidermy for the Marlin so my dad can keep that memory close by for years to come. Between the father and son on the crew, and Grandma and Grandpa, me and my boys (the grand children) - it was very much a family affair for all involved - and it truly felt that way. Thanks to everyone at Martin's!

I knew Blue Marlin were spotted but not so easy to catch in march in PVR. This was my sone and grandsons and I said do your best! Boy, did they the captain and crew spotted and pointed out stripped Marlin, sailfish, and a couple of smaller blue marlin and then we slowed down the crew were scrambling. Throw out a live bait and hooked up and away we went. 125” long over 250 probably closer to 300 pounds! The fish of a lifetime! I can’t say thank you enough for a remarkable and memorable day to this crew and Martins Fishing Adventures. We had caught some Bonita and other jacks. The crew fixed us ceviche on the way back in and fish tostadas! I think they were as excited as us! Then they recommended a replica taxidermy and set it all up for us. It’s going on someone’s wall!
