Yamaica lll (Vallarta Sportfishing) 

My sons wanted to take their sons (6 & 5) salt water fishing for the first time. I found Captain Enrique and his mate Rigo on Fishfinder. The boat was the Yamaica IV (same as the Yamaica III in the advert but painted blue). we booked the 4 hour bay fishing trip because we were’nt sure how the boys would like it. they had the time of their lives once the fish started biting and we reeled in 18 nice sized bonitos! The crew was awesome and three generations had a memorable experience!

We started out slow, but then the dolphins started hanging around the boat! After that it was catching the rest of the day! We caught 14 fish and took them to a nearby restaurant for lunch! The captain and crew were amazing!!!

Our group of 6 had a great day on the water with Captain Phillip and Rigo. The fishing was a bit slow, but we did catch one very nice sailfish, which was really cool.

Went out for the day with Felipe, the skipper and Chava, first mate. Nice sunny day and flat seas were perfect! Boat was very clean and well equipped for a party of 6. We fished an area with lots of bonito and did very well! We also caught several nice sized Jack Crevalle that were photoed and released. And to top it off, Chava whipped up some killer ceviche and sashimi that went down great with the many beers and tequila we enjoyed! Need I say more? Book your trip here, you’ll be glad you did. Captain and crew were friendly and efficient. We caught at least 16 fish and exactly the same species we were after (Spanish Mackerel, Bonita, and Crevalle Jack). Ceviche was made and served on board and was delicious. As a bonus, we also saw at least whales, some breaching. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience.

We had a lot of fun and the crew was awesome! Fishing was very slow but we managed to catch a pair of Pacific Crevalle Jacks, a trophy Mahi Mahi, Spanish mackerel, and a Bonita. The Ceviche was made with the Mackerel and Bonita fresh at the end of the day and was phenomenal. We saw lots of Turtles, Manta Rays, Dolphins and Whales etc. We would go out again on a future trip in a heart beat. Thanks Again!

The team of Yamaica III did thier best to help us reach our dream of catching marlin and mahi mahi. We caught a sailfish the first day. The second we caught a Mahi Mahi and also did some snorkeling. The Captain and crew were very accomidating. I was especially impressed that after snorking and headed towards the harbor, the fishing lines went out with hopes we would catch a marlin. The ceviche was excellent.

Phillip is a top notch captain listed to what we wanted and delivered. He took us to very fishy waters. His crew Oscar was outstanding. This guy worked his tail off for us changing baits colors and techniques. He showed us how to rig for Mahi, Sailfish ,Bonita and Marlin. He was always checking to make sure we had what we needed. We caught some really nice Mahi and Bonita. 5 stars is not enough for these guys.

The crew and captain on this boat were fantastic. The owner of the charter was quick with communication and helpful via the app. The boat was the right choice for our trip 5 men. Plenty of room and a lot of shade which was very important since it was blazing hot in the sun. The mate worked extremely hard and spoke English. They made ceviche with the skipjacks we caught on the trip which was fantastic. Saw whales, dolphins, and caught two nice size mahi. We made this trip on short notice and felt comfortable with the communication before we arrived at the dock

Captain and deck hand worked hard to find the fish and knew their jobs. We caught some nice Jack fish, Spanish Mackerel and Benita. The boat was comfortable and we felt secure at sea. I would recommend this boat and crew to anyone looking to catch fish. Eduardo made the Ceviche from the Mackerel and had it for lunch.
