Just minutes away from Vancouver International Airport, in Richmond BC, you’ll find Amazing Fishing Charters. Come and enjoy a fully guided Salmon and/or bottom fish adventure. This area is a well-known spot for a year-round fishery for all 5 types of Pacific Salmon.
And it doesn’t just end with Salmon. During winter, spring, and early summer, we can set crab traps for tasty Dungeness Crab and/or traps for world-famous Spot Prawns.
You and your fishing partner will be aboard an 22' Arima Sea Ranger Hardtop pilothouse fishing machine The boat is equipped with all the latest electronics and top-of-the-line fishing gear
Since you keep the catch, the captain will clean and fillet it.
You will fish with 10’6” Westcoast Fishing Tackle 10'6 graphite rods and top-of-the-line "Islander TR3" single-action reels. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license and bring snacks and drinks. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately.

5 Hour Trip Afternoon on July 25, 2025 • 2 adults
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat with Ivan. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. My favorite part of the trip was watching him interact with my 10year old grandson. He included him in choosing lures and depth positioning. He is an excellent guide. We learned a bit about the surrounding areas and were fortunate to engage in some great conversations.
We were also given great directions to our next leg of our Canadian journey.
Thank you Ivan for making Cole’s adventure to Vancouver one he will always remember.
Bonus Cole caught 3 salmon and was very excited about that.

5 Hour Trip Morning on June 29, 2025 • 2 adults
Was in Vancouver for a biz trip. Whenever I’m in town, I try and get on a boat if the salmon are running. Booked Cap Ivan’s boat about a month in advance for June 29th. Brought a colleague. The weather gods gave us the perfect conditions, sunny, calm, the right tide. Ivan is a warm and seasoned pro who knows when to chat and when to instruct. He knows the waters inside and out and put us on keeper Coho within minutes. Yes there were some slow moments in the 5 hours we were out but we didn’t want for tight lines because we had plenty. We limited out and released a bunch. Ivan, cleaned and filleted the fish. And because he knew we wanted to bring back the salmon to NYC, he had thoughtfully brought along his vacuum pack machine. He packed each fillet separately and even dropped us at the nearest subway station back to downtown. I’m waiting for my next biz trip to BC and Ivan’s boat. Book Ivan ASAP.

Incredible Birthday Trip! 🎣

Cptn. Ivan was a great guy. Plenty of communication leading up to the trip. He had plenty of time to talk on the boat lol, The fish weren't biting like we hoped for but we still had a great experience. We had to throw back 3 fish and kept 3. He kept us out a bit longer because he didn't want us to go home empty handed. He cleaned and vacumn sealed out fish and explained the best way to get them home and even shared some recipes to prepare them. We would definitely book with him again.
