To begin your adventure, step aboard the 'Marsea,' a 32' SeaSport Pacific catamaran. Built with comfort in mind, the beauty is maintained in great condition and performs well in the unpredictable Pacific Ocean. Twin 270 HP Volvo engines will power you to the hottest spots in the area. It can accommodate up to 6 anglers and is rigged with modern navigational electronics and other professional features.
The Marsea features an upper deck with comfortable seating, where you can take in the beauty of the surrounding waters from up high. Imagine spotting schools of fish, whales, and dolphins while sipping your favorite drink? This boat has everything you need for a comfortable day out.
California fishing charters are a great way to have fun with your friends and family. The crew has tailored a variety of packages to choose from. Check the local waters for Rockfish, Calico Bass, Sand Bass, California Yellowtail, Lingcod, Barracuda, Bonito, California Halibut, and even LOBSTER. Or head out to Catalina or Santa Barbara Island to add larger fish to the list (see our LA Sportfishing - Offshore trips).
During your day out, you will fully appreciate the quality gear and tackle which will be provided for you. We use only top-of-the-line gear. A valid California Fishing License is required for all fishing trips.

Capt David and deck hand Chris were awesome. We chartered to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday. We caught about 30-40 lbs of fish in total during a half day trip. They cleaned and filet the fish. Wear layers, it is cold in the morning and hot during the day. Half day trips are good when you are with family. For big fish choose day trip or day and a half trip. For calm days, the catamaran boat is awesome for room and comfort. But that boat does take choppy seas, so try to stay away from the catamaran on choppy days. Overall great trip!

Took a half day charter with Captain Brian and Deck Boss Bri this morning and had an amazing time. We had 6 anglers, many first timers, and everyone caught multiple fish and had a blast. The crew worked extremely hard to get and keep us on fish and were very knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. Highly recommend LA Sportfishing and look forward to heading out with them again!

The captain knows the area and conditions very well. He got us on the fish even during a slow time of the year!
Very knowledgeable Captain (Brian), excellent teamwork by Brian and Aria. we caught plenty of fish and just had an enjoyable time on the water. Highly recommend LA Sportfishing.
