If you're after for great fishing on a spacious boat with an experienced captain, Loosen Up Charters is the place to be. Operating out of Deale, MD, these guys bring over 40 years of local experience to each trip they run. Climb aboard with your whole family or all your friends and get ready to catch some trophies!
The 'Loosen Up' is a 51' Weaver fishing boat which was built in 2020. This is an inspected vessel, meaning she can carry large parties of to 47 guests. Her wide beam and open deck allow dozens of anglers to fish at once. She also has an enclosed cabin and private head for extra comfort on longer trips.
The boat is equipped with everything you'll need for your trip. Modern marine electronics will sound out the water and pinpoint Captain Frank Carver's favorite spots. Once you're in position, you will be given quality tackle and plenty of fresh live bait to tempt in even the fussiest fish.
Take your pick of how you bring in your chosen species. The boat is loaded with light and heavy tackle which can be set up for trolling, bottom fishing, drifting, jigging, popping, and much more. And with everything from Stripers to King Mackerel to Seatrout on the menu, you'll get the chance to use all these techniques to full effect on your trip.
Capt. Frank provides tackle, bait, and licenses for everyone onboard. At the end of the trip, he will even clean and fillet your fish free of charge. So pack your food, your drinks, and the biggest cooler you can get your hands on and jump aboard for a fun day on the water!

Frank and his first mate John ran a fantastic trip for our new graduate and his buddies. “Best graduation party by far!” The guys had a successful outing with everyone having a chance to catch stripers, and the group catching a ton of big bass. Took home a bunch of fillets (thanks John!) that they fried up that night. Super accommodating for our group. Boat is amazing and the right size to have lots of fishing happening at the same time without feeling at all cramped. Weather was perfect, so once the limit was reached, it was a nice to hang on the beautiful Chesapeake and try to appreciate the milestone. Cheers and Congrats!

Weather was perfect , water was calm and we caught 4 big fish !! Captain frank knew where the fish were and drove the boat smoothly . The boat has a shaded aera for the kids , a bath room for the ladies and air conditioner if we asked .. they even cut up the fish for us so we didn’t have to ! Great time was had by all. Looking forward to booking another trip in the future .
