Shearwater Charters is a family-friendly team that offers exciting fishing trips out of Biloxi, Mississippi. Captain Brandon Morano, the owner and operator, is an experienced and passionate angler. His philosophy is: “Its not work if you love what you do.”

Hop aboard the “Shearwater,” a 37’ Custom built sport fisherman, perfect for up to 6 anglers. The Shearwater comes powered by a 320 HP Caterpillar engine and is fully fitted with top-notch navigational electronics, as well as many other professional facilities.

She has all the comforts of home, with two sets of bunks, a salon, and a restroom. On board, you’ll also find a fighting chair for those who are up for a challenge and a flybridge to aid your search for the fish.

Stay close to the shore and have your hands full of Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, King Mackerel, Redfish, Jack Crevalle, and many other species. Or head out to catch Red Snapper (in June and July), Cobia, Barracuda, and even Sharks!

Light tackle enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to test their trolling, bottom fishing, and jigging skills. You’ll learn a technique or 2 and come back to the shore with as many “catches of the day” as possible!

Trips come with rods, reels, tackle, bait, and ice. You’ll be joined by experienced deckhands, who’ll work hard to make your fishing trip one to remember and clean your catch at the end of the trip. Gratuities are very much appreciated for all of their efforts!

8 Hour Trolling Trip on August 31, 2025 • 3 adults

We had the absolute best day fishing with Captain Brandon and Jarrod. They put us on the fish and made everything easy. We hit some unexpected rough seas, but the boat is solid and handled it extremely well. It was nice having very cold AC on board, too. All the equipment was in good working order and they provide live bait to help ensure an awesome catch. You could see the passion and genuine enthusiasm they both had throughout the day to make sure they provided us with an unforgettable experience of a life time. If you want a great day on the water, this is the charter you need to take.

My wife and I brought our 13 yr old son and 10 yr old son for their first deep sea fishing experience. The captain and first officer were amazing!! They took the time to answer the MANY questions my kids had about fishing and the marine life, as well as thoroughly instructed / taught them how to fish. When the trip was over, the first officer filleted my son’s fish for him so we could take them across the pier across the dock and have them fried! I’ll definitely use them again the next time I’m in Biloxi on vacation!

Awesome Trip

8 Hour Trip – Snapper on August 17, 2025 • 6 adults

All six of us on the boat Fish and limited out on red snapper also caught red fish and a few other type of fish. Captain was great getting us to all the spots getting us on top of the fish and lots of action. And knowing when to move onto the next spot. The hand was very professional, kept our lines, tight and untangled, and our hooks full of bait. Definitely a professional captain and crew and would definitely hire this Charter again highly recommend them. Going home with a cooler full of fish.

Book the trip!!

We had a great time today! The crew were very friendly and answered any questions we had. They were very prompt and left right on time. They took care of everything. We caught several fish and even saw dolphins. When the trip was over they cleaned our catch in record time and even bagged it up for us. The location was very easy to find with plenty of parking. We had a great time and highly recommend them to anyone thinking about spending the day on the water.

Amazing trip.

Amazing trip, I brought my wife and 8 and 13 year old on this fishing charter. It definitely didn’t disappoint, Brandon worked great with both kids and my wife who doesn’t really fish. We caught our limit and have an ice chest full of fish. Anytime we come back to Biloxi we will be rebooking this trip!
