Step aboard a 32' Contender powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha engines. This vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots and comes equipped with advanced fishing technology. There is room onboard for up to 4 passengers and children are welcome. You will find top of the line fishing gear ready and waiting, featuring rods and reels by Penn and Shimano.
Capt. Jason will tailor your experience based on your request, whether it's fishing the wrecks near shore or heading out to the deep sea in search or Sailfish and Tuna. Join him for several hours to test the waters or for a 10 hour 'ironman' fishing marathon.
Depending on conditions and your target species, you might use a wide variety of techniques, from spinning, trolling, and jigging to kite fishing in the spring. Capt. Jason has the knowledge to help you target your catch using the most effective method on any given day.

Half Day Trip (Back for lunch) on August 2, 2026Captain Jason was great as usual. This was my third trip with Cool Running, and this time I brought my 3 daughters with me. They love to go fishing, but this was their first time saltwater fishing. Within the first 10-15mins trolling they brought in their first King. Then we had some good action after that bottom fishing. This trip was a success, and the girls had a blast. I will definitely be back with the kids again.

6 Hour Trip (Live bait included) on December 23, 2022Let me start off by mentioning how personable Captain Jason is! He is extremely well versed as a Captain and an angler. The boat is recently refitted with new everything! It was a little choppy due to the wind, but the boat rode fine! We booked a quarter day to go kite fishing and Captain Jason (plus the fish Gods) delivered. We caught two sails and a little Mahi that went right back in. Furthermore, I believe this trip was outstanding because of Captain Jason's attentiveness and amazing teaching skills. We felt comfortable and safe at all times. 100000% recommend Captain Jason on the Cool Runnings! Definitely booking an ALL DAY trip next time, I can't wait to be back out there again.
