Waterdog Guide Service
Waterdog Guide Service welcomes you aboard for a day of great fishing, combing the inlets and shallow bays for top inshore species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Jacks, Bluefish, and more. All this while enjoying and learning about this beautiful part of the world.
You will be spending the day aboard Captain Tom Roller's 19' Pathfinder flats boat. The vessel was built in 2010 and has tons of deck space, allowing groups of three anglers to enjoy fishing without fighting each other for elbow room. The vessel also boasts a top speed of 50 knots, getting you to the best spots before you even realize you have left the dock!
The vessel is equipped with GPS and fishfinder to sound out the murky waters beneath your feet, a trolling motor to stalk silently through the shallows, and a live bait tank to tempt in even the fussiest of fish. The boat is specifically designed for getting into the skinniest of waters, meaning no fish is ever out of reach.
Trips range from four to eight hours, each tailored to suit your wishes. Captain Tom is happy to welcome anglers of any age or experience level aboard, and will talk you through all the techniques he has developed over his long career as a guide. You will be provided with quality light and fly tackle and while Captain Tom specializes in using lures, he will happily provide you with bait is that is more your style.
So whether you are after a short morning catching Trout with the kids, or a full day battling big Bull Reds in search of a personal record-breaker, you can trust Captain Tom to take you to the best spots around and to always have a trick up his sleeve if the bite drops off.

First impression of our guide Capt.Tom from phone call the night before was positive. He had a game plan and I that next morning it was put into play. Lures was the choice I had asked for and lures I did. The reds didn't want to join in on that plan but did manage a couple of decent fights. However, Capt.Tom changed spots and tactics and went for the bluefish who came out to play. My wife had come for the boat ride and really enjoyed the action. I had wanted a catch and release fishing trip and Tom obliged. Great job Capt.Tom!
Captain Tom was very nice to our group of 3 he called the day before to confirm meeting location, and to see what he could do to make our trip better for us. The whole experience was great, Captain Tom was able to get us on a group of Red fish, and he was knowledgeable on what baits to use, where to cast to get in the groups of fish and how many we were allowed to keep. Very nice guy, he took his time and was very hands on with making sure we all had Bait on our hooks, and even showed us some good techniques with some of the baits to increase our chances of catching fish. Would definitely recommend captain Tom.

Cpt. Tom was great and put us on the fish. We caught reds, blues, spanish, trout, flounder, shark, lizard and croaker. I would recommend Cpt. Tom to anyone.
Very good experience with a knowledgeable fishing captain. Very patient, good instructions during fishing, put us on some fish.
