YB Normal - Port Everglades 

My son and I met up with my high school friend with his 2 sons and his dad. We all had an amazing time. Captain treated us to some Kite fishing as the water was extremely rough. Even with the rough seas he put us onto some sail fish and feisty barracudas. Our goal was to get a mahi for dinner and guess what, a solid one as big as the cooler hit the lines. We left this trip fully satisfied and will certainly book this again with hopefully better water condition. I would love to jig for snapper next time! Do not pass up this experience!

Great day out !! Captain Vinnie knows where to go to get fish and first mate John knew how to teach us to catch them - he was superb all trip. My wife and i were in town for the World Cup and decided to charter a boat for a new experience and are glad we went with Y B Normal. Whilst we have done a little fishing before back in Scotland, this was different and great fun - black fin tuna, barracuda, mahi mahi and a wahoo kept us busy. Charter only but well worth the cost. Easy to find at Dania Beach Marina.

Booked the trip several months ago and communication with Captain Vinnie was super easy. The waters were on the choppy side, but he had given us adequate notice of this the night before so everyone in our party took some dramamine prior to the trip and had no problems. Captain Vinnie did a great job finding the fish and his mate JT was awesome helping us! We caught mostly blackfin tuna but in the last 30 minutes we got a wahoo and a mahi mahi! He fileted those for us and gave us a restaurant recommendation where we took our fresh catch. We had them prepared 3 ways... fried, blackened, and sashimi style. All were delicious! We would definitely do this trip again and recommend Vinnie and JT to anyone!

We had an absolutely amazing fishing experience on our 4-hour morning trip, especially considering that this isn’t even the best season for fishing — and we still managed to land two Sailfish! I went with my two kids, and the entire trip was perfect from start to finish. The captain and deckhand were outstanding — extremely professional, friendly, and great with the kids. They worked nonstop to make sure we had a fun, exciting, and successful day on the water. I can’t recommend this company enough. If you’re looking for a professional crew, great vibes, and a truly memorable family fishing trip, this is the one to book. We will definitely be coming back!

Captian Vinnie and his first mate JT were awesome! Trolling was a little tough due to the sea weed, but the guys worked hard to us some snapper. We stayed ontop of a huge school and caught 15+! I went with my two boys (8 and 10). It was their first deep sea trip and it was a memorable one. I can’t thank the crew enough. I would highly recommend YB Normal!

Capt Vinnie and mate Nick were great with lead up and dishing experience. Nick taught my 13 yo about everything and we caught Black fin, albacore and barracuda a plenty. Highly recommend.

First off. One of the most responsive captains in the area. secondly deckhand and captain combined over 50 years of experience, thirdly we caught a abundance of fish and different species when no one else in the area was. Overall would highly recommend. and would book again with this crew!

our first time fishing in the ocean was made so special with captain vinnie and john! they were very professional, we had great communication throughout the process and caught some very nice fish. the knowledge and experience of the crew made the whole trip so enjoyable.

We wanted bigger fish if possible so we started with trolling. We did catch a mahi-mahi but the action wasn’t there. That’s when we went fishing off the bottom and lightning struck! We caught quite a number of red snapper and trigger fish. 9 snapper and 7 trigger in all but we caught nearly double that considering those we tossed back (too small). We came to catch and Captain Vinny and Deckhand JT delivered!

Captain Vinnie always delivers, we asked to target edible fish and we came home with a cooler full. We hit limit on Blackfin Tuna, caught a Mahi and a Wahoo. Looking forward to our next charter. Highly recommend. Book with confidence!
