She comes equipped with the latest fishing technology, featuring Garmin electronics and a live bait well. Capt. Peter can take up to four passengers on board and children are welcome.
While fishing off the coast of Harker's Island and Morehead City, you'll find large False Albacore swimming within five miles of shore. These fish are large and hard-fighting, and nothing makes a catch like this more exciting than using light tackle or fly gear. Drawing on more than 50 years of experience, Capt. Peter will see to it that you land your catch using the most thrilling and effective method.
FlyLight Charters include top of the line gear, including fly rods by G. Loomis (weights 9-13) and fly reels by Abler and Nautilus. Spinning and bait casting gear include G. Loomis rods matched with Shimano and No. 8 Tackle Company reels.
Non-state residents need to bring a fishing license. Capt. Peter will help you arrange a license if necessary after booking your trip. Catch and release is encouraged, but you are welcome to take home a fish or two to try for yourself.
