Ana Banana Fishing Company specializes in family fun on the beautiful waters of Marathon Florida Keys. The crew aims to keep you happy, safe, and full of exciting memories.
Whether you have a group of fishing buddies, a family reunion, a corporate event, or any other reason to go fishing, you have found the right place. Ana Banana will take you fishing the inshore and nearshore waters up to 9 miles out. You don’t have to travel too far out - Tampa Bay’s flats, reefs, wrecks, and backcountry waters are home to a myriad of exciting species.
Get your hands on Redfish, Flounder, Trout, and Tarpon and fish along the shoreline. Or venture out just a little bit further to tackle Snapper, Kingfish, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, and many other species. If you are traveling with kids, they will especially enjoy battling Sharks.
Test yourself in spearfishing or bowfishing for Cobia and Sheepshead. Pop for Trout, bottom fish for Grouper and Snapper, kite fish for King Mackerel. Catch fish with a fly or jig for Redfish. Whichever fishing technique you’d like to try, just let your captain know. He and his crew will make it happen. So, don't miss to leave a tip for his First mate - he works for tips and gives his best to help you!
Hop onboard the ‘Nautic Star’, a 24’ center console. Her 200 HP Yamaha engine will power you to the hottest grounds and honey holes in the area quickly and safely. The Nautic Star can accommodate up to six anglers.
The trips with Ana Banana Fishing Company aboard the Nautic Star are all-inclusive. You will need to bring some sun protection, food, and drinks. Welcome aboard!

An Unforgettable Family Fishing Trip with Captain Brian

Our family recently took a fishing charter in Marathon, Florida with Captain Brian, and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish. We primarily booked the trip for our sons, and Brian did an amazing job planning a day that was absolutely perfect for our family.
He was incredibly patient, helpful, and engaging with the boys, making sure they were involved in every part of the experience. From baiting hooks to explaining what we were fishing for, Brian made the trip both exciting and educational. His knowledge of the area and the different fish species was impressive, and he took the time to show the boys the details of each fish we caught and explain what made them unique.
We caught a lot of fish and had an absolute blast! One of the best parts was how easy the whole experience was. We simply showed up, stepped onto the boat, and everything was taken care of equipment, bait, and even the planning of where to fish. It allowed us to relax, enjoy the day, and focus on making great memories together as a family.
Captain Brian’s expertise and passion for what he does really made the trip special. We had such a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend booking a charter with him to anyone visiting Marathon.
We will definitely be scheduling another trip with Brian the next time we’re in town. Thanks again for an unforgettable day on the water!

We had a great afternoon on the water with Captain Brian. He had a great rapport with our eleven year old grandson. Grandson hooked many fish and gave the afternoon a 10/10. Our boat was upgraded from what we booked and it easily handled the rough waters! We ate our catch that evening and it was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend Captain Brian-he was the best and put us quickly onto fish! Would definitely book with him again.

Capt. Brian hooked us up!

We took a 3 hour morning trip with our two kids (8 & 11) and they had the best time! Capt. Brian worked his tail off for us. He took us to 4 different places and wouldn't quit until everyone caught multiple fish (even the kids stopped counting)! We caught grouper, mutton, bluefish, mangroves, and grunts. It was an incredible amount of variety and quantity given the limited tome. Capt. Brian was going like crazy with all four of us having rods in the water at the same time, catching fish, and having to replace bait all the time as we missed hits. My husband and I both grew up fishing, but not this kind, and Capt. Brian had a great attitude about our learning curve. He was just the right amount of learning without making it feel like a lesson and he never tried to one-up or get conceited like a lot of professional fishing guides can. The boat was clean and well kept and he had all the equipment ready and it was working beautifully. We kept a bunch and took them down to the Castaway restaurant about a block away from the dock and they cooked them up for us and it was delicious! Highly recommend Capt. Brian and Ana Banana!

Cpt Brian was hands down the best boat captain that we have fished with. He was very friendly, was patient with my kids, and just a complete joy to be around. He worked not stop to make sure everyone was baited up and catching fish. Within the firt 20 minutes of our trip we were on to fish and it was an unforgetable experience! we hauled in over 60 fish in less than 2 hrs with 47 keepers. Best fishing experience we have ever had, and we have been in may charters!

Great day on the water

We came down for a work convention and tried to get some fishing in. Captain Brian was absolutely fantastic. He got us into some great spots with a lot of action. We also saw tons of wildlife including dolphins, manta rays, and sharks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend.
