It was a windy day that didn’t allow for fishing and a lot of places in the area we put us in a protected area. We got several large sheepshead, some flounder and a couple redfish.

Captain David was great! His communication with me prior to the trip was great with making sure all requests and needs were arranged. When out on the water, his patiences with my 6 year old was phenomenal. He sat right with him and helped him and taught him while we were out. While helping my son, he made sure the rest of us were doing well and we always had bait on our hooks. We had a great time with Captain David and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

3 people which was perfect. Capt Dave took care of everything from baiting our lines, setting up our rigs, and fileting our catch. We caught red fish, trout, flounder, sheepshead, a large black drum and one blue cat. Dave knows a lot of special holes and the tactics to fish them.

Windy and extremely low tide made the fishing conditions tough. Dave did a great job getting us around to the fishing spots, but sometimes you just can’t control the bite. It’s fishing, not catching all the time. Had a great time and developed a new friendship. Definitely will be using Capt Dave again.

Captain made a forever memory for my son, his first time fishing, and he loved everything about it. Large Mouth Bass, Black Drum, and others we threw back. Caught three sharks, all just under the limit, but was a great fight. Looking forward to our next outing for sure.

Booked an evening 2 hour trip with captain David for me and my son with my wife tagging along for the ride. We had to fight some wind and the troll motor wasn’t cooperating but David was great with my son and we had a fun time putting a lot of species in the boat.

If you’re looking for a Stellar guide , David is the man. Patient, and determined to put you on the fish even after two heavy Rain days. He was still able to put us on fish. We are from Houston where the limit is only 5 per person so to us we had an exceptional day. Highly recommended to others , he is a true example for others to follow.

Captain David called me because he was worried about the weather coming in on the day I had booked. He assured me he would get us out fishing in a few days after the weather improved and boy did he. He got us onto a lot of trout, drums, sheepshead, and unfortunately a few hardheaded cats. I caught a personal best on a hog of a black drum that will probably be hard for me to beat. I will definitely fish with Captain David again if I’m back in this area.

My wife and I and our two teenage kids had an awesome fishing trip with captain David. He is fabulous with kids teaching them how to fish. Captain David had a great personality and made the kids laugh while catching fish. They loved him. We caught specked trout, white trout, sheepshead and the kids caught several drum some over 30 pounds. It was a fabulous family trip on the water. If you are looking for a family fishing trip I highly suggest captain David charter.
