Even with unsettled weather the action was great. My boys and I are experinced fresh water fisherman and have had great days boating 25 to 30 keeper smallmouth in a day. The fishing in Marathon matched our best days on the water. Nothing but two thumbs up!

Capt Maurice and mate were exceptionally polite and so much fun. Easy going and very friendly. We took out 3 avid fisherman, teenage daughter and 2 9 year old boys. They made sure the kids had a blast. The day was steady with fun size Mahi and some tuna. No trophies today but great memories. One of the best captains I have ever fished with. No egos and no problems.

We really wanted to put our kids on their first Mahi. Captain Maurice was diligent and patient. Our kids all caught fish and once cleaned we took them to a local spot where they prepared them for lunch.

Captain Maurice made it happen. We had some challenges getting out on the water but ultimately got out. Worked some structure and quite a few weed lines with some success. Came in and worked the reef to keep my boys busy.
Overall was pleased with the pickup location at the resort, the trip offshore was quick and eventually landed a few fish.

We caught nine different species of fish. We were catching as soon as we threw the first line over. Ending up releasing a shark and a barracuda. We did walk away with 18 Red Snappers. The only thing we missed out on bucket list was a tarpon but maybe the next time. Highly recommend Capt Buddy for your fishing charter.

We had a terrific time with Captain Buddy on the half day trip! Caught a keeper on the first cast and caught enough to feed a family of 10 by the end! Captain Buddy was an excellent teacher and storyteller and has it down to a science. Even with weather moving in at the end of the trip, we had catches until the very end. Communication was great with the Cap leading up to the trip too. Highly recommended!!!
