Same as anytime you charter a trip, listen to your captain and first mate. Be sure to do research to ensure your getting a captain that is experienced in catching and using the techniques the fish you wish you target.

We caught a break with the weather and it was overcast and breezy. If it had been clear and sunny I think it would have been very hot. Plan for hot; the boat has water but I would bring plenty of liquids.

A local captain is a must. Fish here are not like the Gulf. Fish are picky and the captain must have multiple techniques to catch them.

Proper sunscreen, hats, proper shirts, and maybe a snack everything was awesome on our trip and be prepared to bring Fish home if you so choose like a cooler or something along those lines! Fillet knife won’t hurt either if you want to fillet your fish afterwards.

It’s hot! Plan ahead with uv shirts or bring sunscreen. You can bring your own water or snacks but they have some for sale on the boat too at reasonable prices overall. Also, plan on tipping the crew - cash or Venmo. They earn it!

Bring sun protection and water! Make the most of your time! These guys are professionals, but they don't command the fish to bite so don't give up keep on fishing. I caught my black tip shark with literally 5-10 minutes left before we headed back in!!

Just have to expect the weather to not always be flat and sunny. Be ready for plans to change as the weather in Florida can change quickly. Captain Jim does a great job of watching the weather and letting you know what to expect.

Our 1/2 day deep sea trip was absolutely great. Capt. Kevin White and his 1st Mate Brandon were so kind and helpful. This was our first deep sea fishing excursion, and the Capt. was able to deliver. We caught our limit of mahi mahi, and had some fillets to take to a local restaurant for a catch and cook meal. We’re headed out tomorrow for a reef fishing excursion. Salty Morada is highly recommended.

Capt. Zach was unreel. Very knowledgeable, experienced, laid back, not intimidating, outgoing Captain. Caught limit mangrove snapper, caught a huge Mahi Mahi (26lbs) and some small ones, caught many barracudas, and finished with a huge lemon shark. Ready to book for next year. 1st mate Nathan was great. Was able to be in 10 different places at once and had a great attitude the entirety of the trip. Great kid, with a great personality. The captain continued to move us to go find more fish if spots were deemed too slow.
