Port Douglas Barramundi Fishing Charters

This full-day shared charter will have you targeting Barramundi in Cairns Inlet, as well as Queenfish, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Giant Trevelly, Threadfin Salmon, Grunter and many more. Trips include fishing equipment and bait. BYO food and drinks. Trips have a maximum of 8 people.

This is a full day of estuary fishing in Trinity inlet, Cairns, for up to 6 people; private charter only. From 6.30am to 3.30pm. We supply rods & reels, all bait & tackle, bottles of water with a lunch! We ask you to wear a wide brim hat with a long sleeve cotton shirt & bring along sunnies, sunscreen, & a few cans are okay. This is live bait fishing for Trevally species, Queenfish, Fingermark, Mangrove jack, Cod species, Bream, Flathead and the prize catch...Barramundi (fish are seasonal) to name a few!

The Inlet is home to a great diversity of species including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Salmon, and Jewfish to name just a few. All rods and reels are included in the price, as well as the live bait. We supply cold drinking water and sunscreen but feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks.

Explore some of the areas many mangrove-lined river and estuary systems. Have your expert guide will decide on the best target for the day, taking into account the weather and tides and get after your next prize catch. The guides specialize in targeting Barramundi but this is far from your only option in this rich fishery. In order to ensure a personalized experience, this trip is for a maximum of 2 guests.
