Chauvin Largemouth Bass Fishing Charters

We fish year round, there is no off season in South Louisiana! I Fall, Winter and early Spring we are fishing the inland lakes ans bays and deep into the marsh. Large Spring and Summer we fish the close in oil platforms, reefs and barrier islands of the Gulf of Mexico. The uninhabited islands are beautiful to see and are home to many species of birds. Weather inshore or off shore we are catching Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder and when inshore even Largemouth Bass.

Redfish and Speckled Trout will be your main targets on this trip but you never know what else can bite your bait. Let the captain know in advance what you hope to catch and where you want to go. He'll let you know if there's an extra charge for the fuel in case you go too far from the shore.

Not only will you get on the fish in no time, you'll also be back to clean your fish on the marina grounds right next to the water almost as soon as they're on the boat. You'll waste no time traveling as you target Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and other delicious species by trolling or jigging with light tackle.

Lafitte is only 45 min from New Orleans, and you'll be on your way to catch Redfish, Trout, and Black Drum. After the trip, Captain Mike will clean the fish, bag them u,p and you can take them home or take them to the restaurants and they will cook them for you.

You'll target Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout in lakes, bays, and canals. Fish using bottom rigs, corks, tight lines, gold spoons, fresh shrimp, plastics, spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits. In spring and summer, live bait like shrimp, croakers, and minnows work great. Summer trips include big lakes and beaches where you can catch Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Spring and summer are perfect for beach fishing adventures too.
