Captain Yoan knows where to go to catch beautiful Peacock Bass and largemouth Bass. Caught a lot of Mayan Cichlids too! Pro tip- bring strong sunscreen and bug spray. You will need it. Also you will be charged at the end of the trip for live bait. We weren’t aware of this. We thought this was included.

Chartered a 4 hour late afternoon of peacock bass fishing with Captain Richard and had an outstanding time. He kept my son (13) and I on fish the entire time-catching over 20 from peacock bass, largemouth bass, a Mayan cichlid, and even a 13 lb blue catfish. We really enjoyed ourselves!!!

We had a great time fishing with Joesph. We met up at a bait shop, picked up the needed supplies and off we went. We fished some great areas, learned a lot about the local spots, how to fish for Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, and were surprised by Alligator Garr. It was a great time and looking forward to going again!

Alejandro was an excellent guide that knew what he was doing and helped us in every way possible. I mistakenly thought we’d be in a boat. I was a little disappointed in that we only caught 4 peacock bass for the 3 of us in 4hours of fishing. My son did catch a large largemouth bass that was probably around 6-7 pounds and so that was the highlight of the trip.

This is my 4th fishing charter and by far the best! Captain Branden Caceres is an incredible fishing guide whose fishing ability is second only to his hospitality. He was knowledgeable, professional, and a lot of fun. He was great with my son (11) and focused on everyone’s safety and comfort the entire trip. Looking forward already to our next trip.
For sure a highlight of our vacation.
