Cancún Bonefish Fishing Charters

Spend the afternoon fishing around the Nichupte Lagoon, a 10-minute boat ride from Cancun's hotel district. Jacks, Ladyfish, Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, and more. There's an additional dock fee of US$10 per person.

Start early and catch your lunch! This trip maybe won't be long enough to land Marlin or Sailfish but you can target Wahoo, Barracuda, Snapper, and Tuna. Your fishing equipment is provided. Departure times are flexible, so you can always get more sleep if 8 a.m. is too early for you.

It's always better to start your trip in the morning because the fish are more active. But even if you want to sleep longer, just ask the captain to change the departure time, he's very flexible. Your fishing equipment, drinks, and snacks are covered. Bring your family along, as this is a fun quest for everyone onboard.

If you're hoping to target a specific species within the Nichupte Lagoon the 6-hour trip is the one for you! Go after Tarpon, Jacks, Sea Trout, Barracuda and Snapper year-round in this brackish reserve. If it's Bonefish or Permit you're after, head down between May and October. There are no motorized boats allowed in most areas of the reserve so the calm waters are ideal for sight casting. Spinning and fly gear await on board, as do soft drinks and bottled water. There's a US$10 dockage fee per person.

It won't take more than 15 minutes till you reach your fishing spot and have your lines in the water. You'll stay in calm waters and target Snapper, Grouper, Permit, Snook, Cobia, and other species. All fishing equipment is covered. You can start the trip at 6 or 7 a.m.

If you're a beginner or have never tried spearfishing before, the crew can take you through a theory class and lead you underwater to take your first shoots. Intermediate or advanced underwater hunters are also welcome, the crew will lead them to the best spots and follow the safety rules while freediving. Freediving gear and spear guns are included in the price. For beginners, a max of 2 hunters in the water with a guide. For divers with experience, a max of 4 with a guide. Ceviche is included.

Boat with guide for two people, Beverages on the boat (water and sodas), snacks, rods, reels and tackles, ice box and ice. You could catch Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook, among many others. Our guides will take you to a paradisiacal region of the Mexican Caribbean that includes Isla Blanca, Cayo Chacmochuk, Boca Iglesia, Cayo Cahum and Cayo Raton.

Conveniently located on the Cancun hotel zone you don't have to travel far to get a world class inshore fishing experience. We fish inside the lagoon called the Nichupte Lagoon. We do not go out to the ocean so you'll be fishing in calm waters mostly close to the mangroves. The boat rides to the fishing grounds are short ~15 minutes so you'll get maximum fishing time. We fish for Baby Tarpon and Snook year round and in the summer months Bonefish and Permit as well. There are also plenty of other species!
