This charter will take place on the Saint Joseph River with our target species being the winter-run Steelhead. We will use both jigging and trolling methods for this trip. Trip duration is 6 hours or until fish limit is met. Enclosed river boat capacity is four passengers.

Up to 6 people are welcome aboard, first thing in the morning, to experience the incredible fishing Lake Michigan has to offer. Get out on the productive waters and troll for the bite of a range of delicious Trout and Salmon. Spending 6 hours on the water will allow you plenty of time to reel in a boatful of these beauties, all the while engaging in thrilling fishing.

Have loads of fun fishing Lake Michigan for 8 hours or until you reach the limit! This is a good choice later in the season. Typically, we are running 6 to 12 miles out to find fish. This travel time will cut down on fishing time.

This is a special shared trip for single anglers that can’t assemble a private group. Maximum size of the group is 4. Must have a minimum of 3 to make the trip. Once the minimum is met, the trip will be confirmed.

These trips are 6 hours long and start at 5am

I am Captain Jim Stepp of Jawzon Fishing Charters. I fish a few select tournaments throughout the fishing season and will include you on our team for the day. You will be fishing with Captain Jim's team and be part of what it takes to win. Your responsibilities will include, reeling and strategizing with the team to bring home the trophy! Please note, you will be included in a portion of the payout.

4hrs trolling, 4 hrs perch fishing. We will start our morning offshore salmon and trout fishing and after 4hrs we will come in near shore and target tasty yellow perch. This is for a 4 person trip.
