Matlacha Cobia Fishing Charters

From April to August, Boca Grande boasts the largest Tarpon population in the world. This majestic fish puts on a show that's hard to top, and your captain will help you reel in the trophy catch of your dreams! These fish are aerial artists and the second you hook one you'll agree it deserves the name "The Silver King." Capt. Johnny will provide all the gear you need to reel in this slice of royalty, as well as a valid fishing license.

This 6-hour adventure will be all about catching Redfish, Trout, Snook, Snapper, and Sheepshead, just to name a few. You'll be exploring the waters near docks, along with grass flats, and mangrove islands. Start times are flexible to meet your needs.

This trip can take you anywhere in the area, inshore waters, nearshore waters, or the flats and will focus on the best action available. You will target a wide range of fish such as the: Pompano, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Smaller Sharks, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and anything else you run into. The charter will supply you with all necessary equipment.

This 6-hour trip is recommended for anglers that are looking to target nearshore reef fish. This means Sharks, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper are all in cards. For this expedition, you might go up to 9 nautical miles to get to the best fishing grounds.

This 7-hour inshore trip is for targeting Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, and many more. You'll be heading to a range of places, including the oyster bars, grass flats, mangrove islands, beaches, and a nearshore wreck. All the fishing gear and tackle are included in the price, you just need to bring along food, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Your fishing license is also provided.

A full day trip offers the most flexibility meaning you'll be able to fish multiple tides and move between spots as necessary. This adventure will give you the best chance to catch a monster fish.
