This was my first time fishing in the MD area, and I was very pleased. The Cpt and Mate made the right calls all day (starting a little later, sticking with our spot vs. going for Mackerel. We booked for the but called it early after we caught about 15 large Blues and a huge Cobia fish. It took some patience, but the Cpt strategically planned and the .ates eagle eye got us on the fish.

Wasn’t in the cards to catch rockfish but plan B worked and we bottom fished and had a good time catching perch, spot, croakers and a toad fish. Great captain and first mate. Learned the best time to fish is in August and September in Solomon’s island. So we need to book early with Lochjaw.
