Coos Bay Crab Fishing Charters

This is a Tuna fishing trip that can take you out anywhere from 20 to 40 nautical miles offshore. Tuna comes in closer to the shore from June to October when you can catch it 20 miles offshore. It then moves further out with the warm currents. Please note that this trip is weather permitting since you're going further offshore. **Please note that fishing is currently hot in Winchester Bay, so the meet-up spot might change depending on what's biting!

Winchester Bay and the Umpqua River are known for their incredible Chinook and Coho Salmon fisheries! Fight it out and stock the cooler with these delicious fish in the company of other likeminded anglers on this shared 8-hour trip. All ages and skill levels are welcome and all the gear you need is already on board. Just make sure to buy fishing licenses, bring along any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy, and set off!

Will be trip down the river in willie drift boat chasing winter steelhead . I have heaters and oven for cooking those warm lunches on a cold day. Most trips will take place on N&S Umpqua, main Umpqua, south fork Coquile River.

Who doesnt like crab!?!? Delicious creatures that dont take a ton of time to harvest! We soak the pots in the ocean so when you board the boat for an afternoon crabbing trap you can have confidence that out gear has been setup and is waiting for you to pull up a delicious dinner! No garuntee though! We leave the dock @4 pm and cross the bar to the crabbing grounds, we pull anywhere from 4-10 pots for limits of legal dungeness crab! Great way to get on the ocean and test out your sea legs!

Book up to 4 people a day on a Salmon fishing trip. Fishing will be in the ocean, or in the river. River Fishing Will be either on the Umpqua River out of Winchester Bay, or the Siuslaw River out of Florence.

On a salmon trip we leave the dock daylight depending on the bar conditions. Depending on where the schools are sometimes we're just across the bar other times we run 5 to 8 miles to get to the fish we usually troll fairly slow for these using lures and bait we run level wind reels wraped with 50 pound braid just in case we do look into that Chinook salmon. As a fish gets close to the boat I will instruct you on what to do next as I go to net it.
