First time in the area. Capt Pat is very knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of crappies. He knows right where to find them. He kept the conversation lively. He gave us some places to visit and some supper clubs to hit while here. Overall, an excellent experience.

Fishing for Crappies on Lac Du Flambeau Flowage

We had a guided fishing trip with Fred Palermo, Off the Hook Fishing Adventures, we started out the morning a little slow in the first two spots, the Crappies weren’t cooperating, Fred took us to a third spot and the action really picked up. My grandson was the star of the day catching a lot of nice one, he had the prime spot in the bow of the boat. Overall we caught about 40 fish, we took home 20 really nice 11” or larger crappies, overall a wonderful day fishing.

The weather was cold & rainy and we still caught over 50+ fish. We had 25 good size Crappies in the live well at the end of our 5 hour outing.

The ideal guide for family outing
5/5
What a great time! My grandson , age 9, had very little fishing experience. Patrick gave him a couple pointers, and showed him how to use the fish finder and he was hauling in the crappies and blue gills. Skilled and friendly, Patrick is a perfect guide for a family outing. (See you next year, Patrick)

Helpful and knowledgeable

Pat was a great choice for a guide. We were going to fish on the lake that we were staying on all week, and he dropped his boat in our lake, picked us up, and he showed us spots for Walleye and Crappie. We had a good week after our half day with him thanks to his helpfulness. And the night of our trip with Pat we had a delicious Crappie dinner thanks to his cleaning our catch.
