Lake Hartwell Crappie Fishing Charters

Spend the morning targeting a range of fish, from Largemouth Bass to Striped Bass and from Crappie to Catfish. What you target depends on the time of year, but there are always some great fish on the menu!

This trip will see you chase Stripped Bass for 5 hours

Stripers, White Bass, and Crappie are on numerous rivers nearby Athens, Georgia. Shoal bass trips are on the Ocmulgee River North and South of Macon, Georgia, based on river conditions. Smallmouth trips are run in both Sevierville, Tennessee, and Augusta, Georgia.

We Fish deep clear cold water Georgia Mountain Lakes. Blueridge Lake, Seed Lake, Lake Burton, Lake Rabun and Lake Lanier for Walleye, Perch and Pickerel. We use live bait and lures while trolling slowly. These fish have very sharp teeth so please be extra careful handling these fish. Make sure to dress for the weather and purchase a fishing license.

On this trip we will be exploring all that the great Lake Russel has to offer. The lake is full of spotted bass that are an absolute blast to catch and the best part, we are able to chase them nearly year round. However, on this trip it is not uncommon to come across a school of hybrids that are famous in this lake. They put up a fantastic fight and make for some great memories. Live bait with light tackle. Casting/pulling artificial bait when productive. Best months on Hartwell tend to be December to July. Also October tends to be good for schooling fish on top. You are allowed to keep 10 hybrids/stripers per person year round.

Hybrid/Striper fishing on Clarks Hill Lake, the largest Corp of Engineers lake East of the Misissippi. Much of the lake is in rural areas and receives much lower fising pressure than other lakes in the South East. The fishing for Hybrids/Stripers is outstanding. We will primarily fish with live bait but there are times that casting/pulling artificial is very productive as well.

I have a large number if brush piles thst i have sunk in greenwood that hold crappie great in the late spring and early summer. I have 3 forward facing somar units and we can fish live bait or artificial depending on what the fish want and skill levels.
