Cape May Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) Fishing Charters

This trip will see you bottom fishing wrecks for 6 fun hours. You and the captain will leave the dock at 7:00 a.m.

This trip is ideal for all you anglin' fin-atics out there! You'll travel up to 70 miles from shore to go fishing along the Atlantic Continental Shelf. Get ready for an offshore showdown, trolling and chumming for Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna, as well as Mahi Mahi, White Marlin, and Wahoo. This is a 12-hour trip, so be sure to bring some food and drinks, as well as comfortable clothing, and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!

Trolling trips usually take place in July and August. You'll be fishing within 30 miles off the coast, depending on the weather. You'll be trolling above reefs, lumps, and lobster pots for Wahoo, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore, and occasionally Wahoo and Mahi. You may also encounter larger Tuna species like the Bluefin. Please note, these trips need to be planned last minute due to incoming wind and weather patterns. Capt. Jim will be keeping a close eye on the weather reports and keep you updated.

This trip is for the group that wants the opportunity to target pelagic species such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and King Mackrel without the long ride to the canyons. On this trip, you'll be heading anywhere from 25 miles to 35 miles from shore. Get ready for your next big game adventure aboard the "Gone Fishin’". **A trip modification may be suggested by the captain based on the current fishing reports during the time of the scheduled trip (ie. fishing range exceeds the 35 mile limit)**

This trip is ideal for those looking to do a combination of several different techniques. Travel time is 1 hour each way, so you'll have 4 hours of fishing, which is more than enough time to catch some delicious fish. Target species include Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Back Seabass, Striped Bass, Flounder, Triggerfish, and more. Rods, reels, bait, and licenses are included. Just come 15 minutes before departure and get ready to have the adventure of a lifetime!

Gives us more time to get to the pelagic fish that may be lurking close by, but is a season-dependent trip. In May we won‘t catch mahi or wahoo, but may get a shot at a bluefin. In June the odds get better, but water may still not be warm enough. Starting in July the chances improve of finding king mackerel, mahi-mahi, tuna, & wahoo. Embark on this canyon-fishing adventure and have a memorable time chasing Tuna, Marlin, and Mahi. To reel them in, you and the captain will be using trolling, chunking, jigging, or topwater fishing.

Up to 4 anglers Apart from bottom fishing for Flounder, Seabass, and Blues, this trip can take you up to 30 miles offshore where the big boys hang out. So, you can expect to cross paths with Mahi Mahi and other big game fish. Please don't forget to add 20% gratuity for the mate.

Our offshore trips usually start around 3am and return to the dock between 5-5:30pm. Our catch usually consists of Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, and Tilefish. We troll most of the time but will always change tactics depending on the fishing. We work hard all day to have the best catch possible for our clients. This trip runs for 14-15 hours fishing the best opportunities in any of our local canyons.
