Long Beach Halibut Fishing Charters

Fish the local coast of Orange County with its reefs, man-made structures, kelp beds, and points. Trips are anywhere around where the fish are biting. Favorite spot is the Santa Ana River Jetty and Newport Artificial Reef, both are famous for very large White Seabass, Yellowtail, and Halibut. Calico Bass pretty much live at all these spots and are really fun to reel in. The bonus side to this trip is that your fishing time is maximized.

This trip is a Catalina Island trip that may include the backside of the island. All fishing is based on weather conditions and what is biting.

Deep into the fishing grounds you will venture. Spotting fish is our game. Typically we start the trip fishing for local Pacific Makeral for bait while reeling in Bonito, Bass and Barracuda all the while. Loaded up with a full XXL built in live bait well full of LIVE Sardines and Anchovies, raw Shrimp, Squid, professional grade chum and the latest in gear and tackle we will target BIG PELAGIC FISH and SHARKS on this extra long day on the Pacific Ocean targeting World Class Species! Pack a few Sandwiches

6am-3pm. Fishing Catalina Island for calico bass, sheephead, whitefish, rockfish and seasonal exotics such as barracuda, bonito, halibut and yellowtail.

This is a 6-hour trip on which you can explore the beautiful waters of Long Beach. Head out on the water in the early morning and reel in a variety of species. The target fish include Seabass, Halibut, Lingcod, Bonito, Sculpin, and Barracuda. Bring some food and drinks to stay energized, and you can bring your own tackle if you wish. Pack some sunscreen as well and get excited about your new adventure!

This trip can consist of a 6-hour day for Bass,Rockfish, Barracuda, and whats biting inshore given the season. Fishing has been amazing close to home! The Horseshoe Kelp is right at the doorstep where multiple types of species live. Enjoy great fishing, the best customer service, beautiful wildlife, and the gorgrous sunrise. Full day Catalina trips offer a great opportunity at our large island gamefish. Trips can be customized to the type of fish you would prefer to catch at the island.

Fishing outside the break wall usually 2-6 miles out to target Bass, Rockfish, Sculpin, Sheepshead, Barracuda, Halibut, and, if lucky, you can get Yellowtail and Mahi in the summertime. Customers over 16 must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip. Please take care of your crew, they will provide you with the best customer service, 18-25% is the average tip.

Six hours to fish in the waters near Avalon Harbor and potentially around the east end of Catalina Island. This longer charter allows us to travel farther and target more fish species.

San Clemente Island, Catalina and surrounding waters. We provide the all inclusive full package for 3 full days and 2 nights. Catch lots of fish and target whopper yellowtail and tuna. We can go paddy hopping, trolling or bottom drifting. Includes 2 overnights in Avalon harbor with a dinghy so you can go to town in the evening. Meals and snacks are included for this trip. Sleeping accommodations are 1 double bed, 1 single and 1 small bunk. Back to our dock in Long Beach by 8pm the third day.
