Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Almaco Jack, Jack Crevalle, Horse-eye Jack, African Pompano Jack, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Needlefish, Rainbow Runner, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Blackfin Tuna, Jack Crevalle, African Pompano Jack, Needlefish, Roosterfish, and whatever else is biting. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

Captain Elias is the man at the helm of Cat Costa Rica, which he runs alongside a friendly crew. Depending on the trip you opt for, you’ll be welcomed by your captain and up to 3 crew members. This means you’ll be treated to plenty of helpful local tips and tricks!

You’ll be fishing from the “Sea Dolphi,” a 32’ Polar offshore sportfishing boat powered by twin 115 HP Yamaha engines. Fully restored in 2018, it features the latest and the best in marine electronics and safety gear, a flybridge, shower, kitchen, and beds. On board, you’ll also find outriggers, downriggers, tuna tubes, and an ice-box.
