Chesapeake Bay Redfish Fishing Charters

The 6-hour trip is great for people that want more time on the water. You will be targeting, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Ribbonfish, Red Drum, King Mackerel, and Cobia when they are in our waters. All tackle, rods, reels, bait, and a fishing license are included. Please bring what you want to eat and drink. We include free fish cleaning. Please tip your 1st mate 20%.

Summer is starting to heat up and so are the Spanish Mackerel and Blue Fish! Striped Bass season might be closed for a short period in time but this time of the year is the best time to catch an alternative species! Join Chesapeake Adventures Sportfishing and experience Maryland's coastal pride and joy. Capt. James will take you to his favorite fishing spots up and down the Chesapeake Bay where you will be using light tackle to either bottom fish, jig, or spin for some very popular species. Your target fish are Black Drum, Redfish, Striped Bass, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Flounder, and many more.

Head out to some of Virginia's nearshore wrecks and target Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, and more. Occasionally, you can find Mahi and Triggerfish. These trips are weather-dependent – if the weather is good, you can go! 5 people max

These trophy Redfish are here in our area from mid-August to mid-September. These are released fish but anything over 46” is a release citation.

This trip is for people that don’t want to pay for a full charter. You’ll be combined with a maximum of five Anglers. Exact times may change based on whether and bite.

Bottom fishing for anything you can put in the cooler and take home to eat. Can customize trip to meet your expectations and desires.

This is a one angler and guide trip. Great opportunity to “tune up” your casting and fly-fishing skills. You will be the only one fishing and have the boat to yourself. We will be fishing our Hewes 21 Redfisher. It is equipped with Garmin electronics (Hummingbird side scan coming this spring), a 300HP Yamaha and a Motor Guide trolling motor. Rod holders…GOT THEM!!! Room for 8 fly rods plus tons of storage. Bring you own equipment or use all our latest ORVIS rods.
