Tofino Chinook Salmon Fishing Charters

This package will allow enough time for salmon and bottom fish and check crab trap on the way home.

A half day trip that will take you out to the nearshore waters where you can target Lingcod, Halibut, and crab.

This 4-hour trip is the perfect outing for the entire family! Typically you'll start the trip off by dropping crab traps in the Tofino harbour, and then will head out to the fishing grounds, staying within 8 miles. Your captain will have you trolling for Salmon species, bottom fishing for Halibut, and jigging for Lingcod. If you want to mix up your angling with sight-seeing, you can explore the coastline and find local wildlife, too. Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are included. Just bring a license.

Join us aboard the SeaWolf. At over 30 feet long, it is one of the largest in the charter fleet and has seating for up to 8 guests. It was custom designed for the tough conditions of the guiding on the west coast and offers a number of other amenities rarely found on charter vessels. Half day trips are a great way to explore the area and experience our fisheries. Typically we will target one species with Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish all available.

Come out for 6 hours of fishing with Obee Fishing. On this trip, you can target Salmon, Halibut, as well as Lingcod. As you don't have a full day, it's best to choose a species you would like to target, and if you have time you can go for a secondary species. Crab traps are always an option on these trips and a 5-hour Crab trap soak is generally effective!

A quick trip out on the water where you and the crew can fish, crab, and check out local wildlife. Departure times may vary, so make sure to check with Captain Jon for details. The trip price covers all your fishing rods, reels, tackle, and lures.

We plan our trips with consideration to weather conditions, seasonal openings, what is in abundance, and your personal preference in mind. Please pack a lunch. BC Tidal Water Fishing License is required by all guests participating in sportfishing charters.
