Punta Gorda Hammerhead Shark Fishing Charters

From April to August, Boca Grande boasts the largest Tarpon population in the world. This majestic fish puts on a show that's hard to top, and your captain will help you reel in the trophy catch of your dreams! These fish are aerial artists and the second you hook one you'll agree it deserves the name "The Silver King." Capt. Johnny will provide all the gear you need to reel in this slice of royalty, as well as a valid fishing license.

This captions choice trip can take you anywhere in the area, inshore waters, nearshore waters, or the flats and will focus on the best action available. You will target a wide range of fish such as the: Pompano, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Smaller Sharks, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and many others. We do not target Tarpon, Goliath, or Larger sharks on this charter. The charter will supply you with all necessary equipment, baits and fishing license.

Spend the day bottom fishing, trolling, popping, and even handlining, to attract whatever's biting. Depending on the season, you can catch Snook, Snappers, Drum, Jacks, Redfish, and many more prized creatures. Settle in for a thrilling fishing experience, with the chance to stop off for lunch in a beautiful spot.

Snook fishing during the night is customers' favorite on this charter. Avoid the heat and the crowds and have all the fish for yourself. The captain will cover your fishing equipment, you just need to concentrate to catch more Snook.

We shark fish anywhere from 9 ft to 20 ft of depth depending on the weather. We will either fish inside or outside of Boca Grand pass depending on the winds and the wave conditions. You can bring up to six people in your group. We fish with two rods, two big hunks of bait & I explain to you guys what you need to do when the sharks bite. You pick up the rod, set the hook and you're off to the races! Sharks in this area are hammerhead, black tip, bull sharks, Atlantic sharp nose & black nose.

Spend 6 hours targeting a variety of Shark species. Join regardless of your fishing experience. All anglers are welcome.

6-hour trips leave at 8:00 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m. All fishing tackle, bait, and licenses are included. Customers will need to provide their own sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, drinks, and snacks.
