North Padre Island Sheepshead Fishing Charters

Fishing the flats of the Laguna Madre of South Texas is search of trophy Trout, Redfish, Black drum, Flounder, and Sheepshead.

Fall and winter time fishing that is absolutely on fire down here in south Texas that time of year. Black drum, redfish, trout, flounder you name it they are eating. Cooler weather days makes for enjoyable foshing and even better memories. Take advantage of less boat traffic and easier fishing aith these special trips. Starting October and continuing all the way until February 1st.

The trip includes fishing poles and tackle, live and artificial bait, coolers with ice, and water. What you should bring are fishing licenses, food, beverages, sunscreen, and an ice-chest to take your catch home. Dress for the weather!

Spend 6 hours on the water and have a great time fishing in the bay. You and the crew will leave the dock at 8:00 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m. Your trip includes all the gear, bait, catch cleaning, and drinks, so you should only bring some snacks and your licenses.

For those who would rather sleep in and head out after lunch, the captain offers the afternoon trip! Basically the same as the morning trip, state water trips focus on the waters from the shore out to 9 miles! Just like the morning trip, you may fish around the jetties for a bit and then head out to some other spots farther out for various species!

This will be a 4 hour trip targeting Redfish, Trout and Black Drum with the occasional Flounder or Sheepshead. The trip will take place on the coastal waters of Nueces Bay, Corpus Christi Bay, Upper Laguna Madre, or Baffin Bay. Common fishing techniques include live shrimp under popping cork, free lining croaker and sight casting with artificial lures.

Enjoy 5 hours of fishing for up to 4 people. All bait, lures, and equipment are provided, and fish cleaning is available(atadditionalcost). If using your personal rods and reels, please inform the Capt. prior to the day of fishing. Tips are not required but are appreciated!
