Lewes Swordfish Fishing Charters

We offer very limited offshore trips these trips are for Tuna Mahi Marlin Wahoo. We limit these trips to 4 people to allow space. These are 10-12 hour trips we bring bean bags for a comfortable ride. We will spend the day trolling or bailing weedlines for mahi.

This trip will take you on a journey to the blue waters off the continental shelf, some 40-70 miles offshore. You’ll troll over the canyon, finding the best fishing spots for Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and other species.

Spend 15 hours chasing Swordfish make some great memories on the water. The regulations require a minimum of four 47” fish per trip. The trip starts at 2:00 a.m.

Targeting Tuna, Mahi, Marlin, and Swordfish at night. Trolling or chucking depending on what is the best method at the time. Will also deep drop for Tilefish if the trolling or chucking bites are unproductive. We will contact you a few days prior to the trip to advise you of the weather and fishing conditions. (Please note: for trips from 75 to 100 miles Offshore, an additional fee will apply over 75 miles.) A fuel Surcharge will apply if fuel is over $4/gallon.

Our offshore trips usually start around 3am and return to the dock between 5-5:30pm. Our catch usually consists of Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, and Tilefish. We troll most of the time but will always change tactics depending on the fishing. We work hard all day to have the best catch possible for our clients. This trip runs for 14-15 hours fishing the best opportunities in any of our local canyons.

Swordfish are one of the greatest battles you will encounter. Arguably the strongest pound for pound fish in our region. This trip is for those who have a dream of catching the meanest billfish in the ocean.
