Kick off early morning at 6am and head towards the drop-off which is about 40 nautical miles south of Mahe island, on the Mahe plateau maximum depth is 80 metres. Once you leave the plateau, it gets deep really quickly from 80 metres to 1500 metres and more, hence drop-off. There you will have more chance of catching something big. We usually go there for big yellowfin tuna, dogtooth tuna and the famous Marlin which is every fisherman's dream!!!
