Fun family trip!

Nelson and his crew took my family of 6 on a half day trip in December and it was a lot of fun! The boat was equipped with everything we needed to fish along with sandwiches, cookies, beer and waters! We were trying to catch Tuna and Wahoo but we were unsuccessful. Even with no fish caught, the trip was enjoyable. I would highly recommend Balancal and the crew!!

Great experience catching a large Wahoo, the only disappointing part of the trip was, that after paying quite a lot for the boat by bank transfer, when I arrived at the kiosk, they wanted a furthe 30euros. This should not happen.

7 h trip combining some bottomfishing and trolling for game fish. We were three persons on the boat fishing and were lucky to catch two wahoos of aprox 25-30 kg. Nice lunch and snacks.

It was our first time on Madeira and i paid for my hubby to go Wahoo fishing for his birthday. He wasnt disappointed. The crew knew exactly what they were doing, very dedicated to their jobs and obviously enjoy it. Enjoyed every minute of it... especially eating it after in a local restaurant it was delicious. It was over 3ft long and 55kgs plenty to go around !

Great morning fishing with my son

We had a great morning fishing. My son (15yr) and I started Pike fishing in the Netherlands some months ago, so this was our first trip on the sea. We were the only ones on the boat with captain and experienced local fisher. The very friendly crew helped us speed up to learn bottom fishing and were very active finding good spots. We caught about 7 fish (including a grouper, snapper and trigger fish). So an excellent morning and experience with my son.
