Blue Horizon Sportfishing offers a unique experience and multiple angling options to choose from. Their mission is to make your trip memorable. Captain Jim will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. 

He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning. You have different trips at your disposal to go after Rockfish, Yellowtail Amberjack, Dolphin, Tuna, Calico Bass, and Bonito. Be it a half day or 12-hour pursuit, you'll sure land something!

Your boat for the day will be a 55' Hoquim Shipyard that fits up to 22 anglers. It comes with a toilet and an ice box for keeping your catch cool. There's no dilemma - the boat is spacious and comfortable for long fishing hours! 

You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. Be advised that rods, reels, and terminal tackle are not included in the trip price. And please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

For any questions or assistance, you can also consult with the first mate and the rest of the crew while on the boat. Tips for good service are always appreciated. They're really good with kids, so you can bring them, too.

1/2 day twilight trip, enjoy a sunset, burger, and cold beverage as you and your guests fish into the night. Rod rental, and an evening burger/sandwich from our galley included per person.

Lobster hooping and fishing combo trip. Guests can enjoy a afternoon of coastal fishing then, as darkness approaches we switch gears to hoopnet for lobster. 10 hoops are used per california regulations. Full galley…There is a 200.00 galley minimum and no alcohol is allowed to be brought aboard.

This fishing trip targets coastal species exclusively. Price includes boat, bait, crew, 1 breakfast and 1 lunch item per person, fishing pole, and terminal tackle. Fishing license, fish cleaning, and crew gratuity are extra.

9 Hour Trip - 6 People Special

This 9-hour fishing trip targets coastal species exclusively. The price includes the boat, bait, and crew. Full galley service( $250.00 minimum), rod rentals, fishing licenses are extra. Up to 30 passengers.

3/4 Day Trip – Coastal

This 12-hour trip is a full-day adventure of targeting coastal and or offshore species. This is designated as a freelance trip which means the best option will be conveyed and coastal or offshore species will be targeted prior to the trip with the charter master and captain. Full Galley service (minimum $250.00), rod rental, fishing license, cleaning, and crew gratuity extra.

Special limited load overnight trip. Targeting tuna and other offshore species. Includes meals, rental rod package of single and two speed tackle for up to 10 anglers, extra individuals up to 14 can be accomodated at 150.00 per person.

Overnight

36 hour Offshore fishing(same as overnight trip) but with the extra time to fish further or night fish for bluefin tuna when available. Trip includes meals and tackle package of single and two speed gear. Up to 10 with additional passengers accomodated at 200.00 per person up to 14 maximum.

Day and a half

2 full days offshore fishing, meals, single and two speed tackle package included good for up to 10 anglers, with additional anglers accomodated at 250.00 per person up to 14 maximum.
