At High Times we offer fun trips for a family outing with the kids and serious anglers alike. We target many species such as Red Drum (or locally called Redfish), Red Snapper, Mangrove Anapper, Cobia (aka Ling or Lemonfish), King and Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and many other species that inhabit our barrier islands, which are located 10 miles off the coast, and the Gulf of Mexico beyond.

The vessel is a 38ft Henriques Sportfish. It's fully equipped with a spacious air-conditioned cabin with plenty of seating, a private restroom, upper bridge seating for great views, a large back deck with plenty of fishing space, and outriggers.  It is powered with twin 370 horsepower Cummins engines ensuring a quick and reliable run to and from the fishing grounds.  I have added many updates to the vessel, including side-scanning sonar capabilities to ensure you spend more time fighting fish and less time finding them.

We offer offshore trips of 4, 6, and 8 hours, as well as offshore red snapper trips when red snapper season opens.  At High Times Charters it is not just about catching fish, which you will certainly do, but about making memories to last a lifetime while filling the ice chest with your delicious catch.  And don't forget, our professional deckhand will take care of fileting and bagging your catch for easy transport home!

Offshore fishing around our barrier islands using different tactics including trolling, bottom and drift-fishing, and possibly jigging and live-baiting targeted species.  Tactics vary by season and are employed to give you the best opportunity to have a successful day.

We target Red Drum (Redfish), Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, and various other species that roam the waters surrounding our barrier islands 10-12 miles offshore.

We will steam 30 to 40 miles offshore to the red snapper grounds where we will target red snapper with a of myriad of tactics including drop down bait fishing, free lining, jigging, live baiting, and more.  There is always the potential to catch other deeper water dwellers such as Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, King Mackerel, Sharks, and many other species.

After a limit of Red Snapper, the remaining time will be spent targeting other fish offshore or around the islands.

Total 8-9 hours in length.
